My tip of the day is bag yourself a bargain and future classic - LP570-4 Performante
Have you ever posted without mentioning your own car?

As for a 300K spyder, I just can't see it. 458 spyders never got near it, neither with the Huracan IMHO.

Help please.......

I have my name down for one of these and want to understand a little more about the possible depreciation curve on this type of car , it would be my first "Supercar".

I would hope to see a car before the 3rd quarter of 2015. My understanding from talking to my dealer (only) is this : there are 7 UK dealers , each getting 4 cars initially , making the first annual allocation 28 cars ! I got the impression this would ramp up in year 2 , maybe double , meaning my car would be one of the first 84 UK cars . If I sold after 2 years (ie 3.5 years into the cars life cycle) with 6,000 miles on the clock , what would my £k 200,000 initial "Investment" be worth to a dealer ? I am guessing that by this time there would be roughly 190 or so in the UK ( I have assumed the 3rd year production might be double year 2 )

I realise this is an impossible question to ask - but I suppose I wondered based on peoples previous experiences of other supercar ownership what the consensus was - am I going to loose £k 100 , £k 50 or £k 25 - just wanted a bit of scale really .

Cheers smile

I would say less than £50k judging by Aventador and 458 residuals. Huracan is going to be epic and the supercar to have and with such small numbers its going to hold its value well IMHO

It looks like the new GT3 crowd also has a soft spot for lamborghinis - me included.
Seems odd as the cars are so different or is that why?

Interesting point - I'm still not sure I like them enough to buy one - they are a bit flash for me , a bit Batman but strangely compelling all the same ; I know if I could only choose 1 it would be the GT3 - just seems more real somehow ? smile

IMV, the price ie 220k with a spec is way to close to a 13 plate LP700, no brainer V12, 700BHP, Carbon Tub, body......

I had a LP700 coupe for 10 months last year......then a LP700 SP for a week.....To much scuttle shake on the SP for me, its about 40% less rigid than the coupe...The A posts move around when pressing on.......Not for me...

Looks awesome in orange , I have to say , lovely . GT3 doesn't look too shabby either. Seeing the Huracan "in the metal" in Birmingahm on Sunday - will decide after that smile

less than 10k diff between the new car and a 13 reg LP700......no brainer for me.....Although the LP700 is hard work in traffic..Don't forget the new 12C is out soon.....

This car is really going to struggle IMV, the new 12C is better looking, 60bhp more, far lighter.. much faster, bigger spec pound for pound...and available as a SP for almost the same price as the new car Lambo is in a coupe.....

IMHO.....

Hi Apolo , thanks for the tip - so many cars to consider - slightly daunting. Is the new 12 C in the public domain yet if not when do you think this will be ? I'm really not up on this and as such don't have a clue - cheers smile

no, I would expect next month..in time for Geneva, It would not be right to say much more at this point..other then I would expect the LP570/4-SP to increase in price.

At the end of the day its just my view nothing more, I know that Lam have good following, but the jnr super car market is very small in the UK.
