UH-MATT - I don't expect a reply from this until your back from your honeymoon but what the hell - I need some info / help regarding the set up on your old gallardo (recently test driven). I didn't buy your old car in the end as I bought a similar but standard car due to price(71k vs your car 78k) - but was very impressed with the exhaust (RSC i believe).
I want the same exhaust to be put on my car and was just wondering did you have the car remapped at the same time or was it simply the case of old exhaust off-RSC exhaust on, and the ecu sorts itself out?
I pick the car up in approx 10 days and want the exhaust fitted asap.
The RSC makes the other exhausts look overpriced (Capristo,Tubi,Armitrix,Kreisegg,Quicksilver etc all are 3-4k plus, whilst the RSC is listed as just under 2k) - or am I missing something.
Thanks in advance.

Go for the RSC system - As long as you like it loud I thought the exhaust was perfect. Build quality is top notch!

It was installed to a standard car, no changes to ECU or anything else. Very occasionally it could trigger a mis-fire sensor which clears itself and is nothing to worry about, happens to most Gallardo's when the exhaust is changed over.

Thanks Matt, help full info. will do the standard exhaust mod over the weekend and take it from there. - I really would like to here a fabspeed equipped 06 - 08 car for a comparison. The strong pound is making the fabspeed system very attractive.

I've just order a Rsc exhaust for my gallardo! Will be doing a before and after video vid of it! So you can compare them to each other.

RSC is several times louder than standard unplugged, but more importantly has a good tone to it. I found that before my RSC with just the standard unplugged it was very drony and not the greatest tone,.

Yes, i am finding exactly the same issue - a bit droney on the motorway, but i am generally happy with the loudness of it. .. i am doing the clear indicator change soon - is it possible to change the top headlight bulb to clear as well - cant find any info on this.

Im in Miami right now and today we tested a pre-LP with the RSC system on and intakes and managed to get 60whp extra in the midrange through tuning the car for the upgrades. The car was unreal and sounded like F1 of old.

Very nice. You getting the rear diffuser dipped? Callipers need some paint to finish the look...
