No, there is always a point in a product line when its reaches its optimal point. IMHO that's the LP Gallardo. Faster and better than earlier versions but not to the extent that it is too darn good and losing the rawness. All new cars are so refined now its getting boring. Who needs heated scarfs and steering wheels and what does it add to the driving experience
Agree, then they stuck stickers to a Performante, called it the Tecnica, and in red it became the fastest depreciating Gallardo of all time! yes

genuine question

given that one of the other red cars was firebombed ( mistaken identity perhaps ? ), and the other two were heavily discounted and bought by hire companies, how do you so expertly value your car ?

Yeah I suggest you guys speak to the tooth fairies rather than try to wind me up.

I have no need or wish to disclose this information on a forum but they are all well known professional establishments that realise a valuable asset that they can sell on and make a reasonable profit on.
If mine is the only genuine retail, low mileage and pristine example maybe I should ask them for an extra £5k. Thanks for the tip off biggrin

Ah, so now everyone in advertising is a liar? Is that deflection? It is! A defence mechanism:
http://www.ehow.com/info_8164756_tell-tale-signs-l...

Tell you what, PM me the dealer and I'll verify what you've said for the forum. No? Thought not. rolleyes

Given most dealers read this site, shall we just request that no one buys your car for anything above £5k (perhaps true value) until you quit posting such utter inane drivel and admit you've lied about prices on this thread? After all you've done them no favours having undermined that model, the brand and genuine Lamborghini enthusiasts. I know a couple of dealers who'd be up for this! hehe

Go away and have a think why anyone would want a car associated with someone who posts what you do on this forum. Oh, and have a ROFL from me! rofl

tbh, i think the earl has a point in talking up his car, the brand, the model.... it did wonders for the cs and scud in terms of residuals...... i would agree with him they are great cars even if based on a chassis that is 10 years old...... the frame is 10 years old, the engine only 5, and the gearbox etc similarly 5...... and that V10.... i defy anyone not to love it........
however, as a fellow lambo owner, even i find/found it monotonus when he'd post on every thread its the next big thing.....

You Sir are a prize ......... I have no need to lie and the price ( which I have never even mentioned ) is irrelevant as I don't intend to sell. shoot

If the most constructive thing you can do is try and wind me up, once again you have failed miserably - probably the story of your life I would hazard a guess. If people buy a car based on the owner I guess yours are keepers laugh

Now go away and crawl back under the stone you came from tongue out:

Just brilliant, that'll keep me going for days! hehe

Now look above, can you not see that you're the problem? Even 70proof, a man with the proven patience of a saint, doesn't appreciate your endless inane drivel. The really sad thing is that other owners, even one dealer, who frequent this forum have had a good laugh at your expense - is this what you want?

May I suggest you change tack and take pictures, videos and write about amazing road trips or track days you've done with your car - this is what people want to read and such posts genuinely bring interest to the cars featured.

Hearing the same crap day in, day out, on every post (even those completely off-topic) with your ridiculous opinion on residuals does neither you or the car any favours.

I'm going to rise above the taunting and take the moral high ground knowing that I'm right and that's all that matters. If you care to follow this thread I have not mentioned the price or residuals at all yet you have come out with the utter drivel " of the fastest depreciating Gallardo worth about £5k ".

FFS at least act your shoe size because your constant personal abuse is becoming boring

Let's face the facts, you've bought one of the last "special special" editions for around £160k, you paid more for it in November than a 458 or Mac, all to see in your previous posts.

Your going to take a bath....

What do you think is going to happen when you try to put your car on the market, everyone now knows a red PET has either been owned by a hire company or you, no one is going to want it.
