What do you think is going to happen when you try to put your car on the market, everyone now knows a red PET has either been owned by a hire company or you, no one is going to want it.

The fact that the others have been owned by a hire company only makes mine more desirable as a genuine retail car with low miles and in pristine condition. I'd much rather buy a car from an enthusiast who looks after their car, no expense spared, loves it and cherishes it ( even if he is a tosser, not that I am of course ) than someone with so much money they are not bothered and drove it like they stole it.

I don't think you can blame 430 for trying, people on the internet have added £50+k to the value of CS's and st loads to the 911 GT range with internet hyping (wish I didn't sell my 993 RS 8 years ago)
