Shame about the blue interior in my opinion, but perhaps others would prefer it to black. I wouldn't normally consider a yellow car but I think a Lambo can pull it off (opinions?) so this would be perfect but I think mileage is too high (not for me but would likely have circa 35k once I sell)?

Have you driven both the 430 and Gallardo?
John.
No, I haven't, which of course logically I should. I've never really got on with the looks, I took a close look at a Gallardo recently and it is simply stunning, in my eyes at least it has that classic supercar shape, and for me it must be an event in itself, and from what I understand it's hardly lacking in the driving experience front either?John.
However, I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who's driven or better still owned both?
The one issue I do need to resolve (get over, no pun intended!) is that of sleeping policemen, I have to negotiate both full width ones and the 'pillow' type that cover only the central part of the road, unless it can get over these it's a non starter - this is why I need one with lifting gear.
A few years back I seem to remember seeing one and wondered what on earth was going on as it was significantly higher - clearly it was engaged.

And that's the rub, I don't particularly mind it but as this will be a relatively short term proposition (1-2 years) the ability to re-sell is important.

I think the citrus colours really suit the lambo..... black hides the lines, makes it stealth..... so if you don't mind the attention, the yellow is a stunning pearl effect paint.....I wouldn't normally consider a yellow car but I think a Lambo can pull it off (opinions?) so this would be perfect but I think mileage is too high (not for me but would likely have circa 35k once I sell)?
re the one with the blue interior, if you can use the interior to haggle on the price, buy it cheap and sell it cheap..... what will help sell it in 2 years is the condition and mileage, and that will factor more highly than a blue interior...... never read any bad word re carlo and the car looks mint.....

Ironically I'm not really into cars which shout loudly, but I guess that's an impossibility in a Lamborghini!re the one with the blue interior, if you can use the interior to haggle on the price, buy it cheap and sell it cheap..... what will help sell it in 2 years is the condition and mileage, and that will factor more highly than a blue interior...... never read any bad word re carlo and the car looks mint.....
There's a black one for sale at the moment with black wheels, I'm really not sure to be honest, I bet Michael Knight would like it!
As I say I'm not averse but I imagine others would be. I also assume these aren't terribly easy to sell privately, most preferring the security of a dealer?
Carlo, you know the dealer in question?
Cheers

Have a long road near me with various hump types the whole length. Had lifting gear but as long as I took it easy I never had to use it. Only time I used it was pulling into a friends drive which had a fairly steep incline.A few years back I seem to remember seeing one and wondered what on earth was going on as it was significantly higher - clearly it was engaged.

[Ironically I'm not really into cars which shout loudly, but I guess that's an impossibility in a Lamborghini!]
I remember when I took delivery of my first Lamborghini, a Jalpa. I stood around with the dealer worrying about whether or not to get the fin taken off. As I tortured myself over the problem, the dealer just said, "if you're worried about the attention, you shouldn't have bought a red Lamborghini!" And with that he left. Quite right too. And the car still has the fin on it today.

I like that story and that you've still got the car, great stuffI remember when I took delivery of my first Lamborghini, a Jalpa. And I can't deny what you said either, guess it's a small price to pay!
