Wondering if anyone knows anything about this car?

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/l...

It appears to have yellow stitching, is it a possibility that it started off yellow and has been painted black?.

So it never sells, or it has been up for sale a lot by different owners? Looks like a decent car. Carbon ceramics makes me think it may have been tracked a fair amount.

Probably on SOR and the owner just tells him to list it to see if anyone bites........

It's on my consideration list. Thing is it's a couple of years older being a 2006, and a bit steep at the price, it's a private sale. No come backs etc. Also says the car has never been driven out of auto mode. I find that hard to believe, but isn't auto mode worse for the clutch???? Also the mileage is higher, ok, not massively, but the other car has only 13000 on it, if I do 3500 a year, in two years it will have just about hit the 20,000 mile psychological boundary. Where as the grey one has 18,000 miles and so in two years will have 25000 miles on it. I don't know if any of that makes sense.

It is my car (the grey one) - need to check the mileage as it is stored in friends garage and am sure it is less than that, i meant in the advert i have only used the car in manual mode (as did previous owner who had it approx 6 years- i have altered the wording......wont let it go for less than 70 ...it is too good.....may consider sale on return through dealer (finance and warranty available) but will be up for 75k at a dealer.
I would rather sell to a pistonheader rather than the idiots who keep contacting me.

This whole process really pains me. A year ago I sold a 2007 Gallardo spider in midas with i think about 15000 on the clock with all mod cons, it was imaculate, I sold for £65k. Selling privately needs to be a little realistic. Or the cars hang around for months. Gallardo pricing seems to be all over the place.

If you were selling that car today for £65k, I'd be buying it!

Its not exclusive to Gallardos !
The variance on some supercars seems huge. £165 k for a Performante, £220k for a Scuderia what planet are some of these people on.

Even looking around at run of the mill BMW M3's and Ford Focus RS's the prices are crazy with everyone saying future classic on mass produced motors

Market is crazy at the moment. Seems to me if a car doesn't sell some dealers think putting the price up will help the cause ?????
Seems to be quite a few MP4 12C coupes and spiders around at moment and first used 650S's are appearing and with 458's dropping it will be interesting to see where these go next

Apparently owned by Simon Cowell when new. Might make the car more memorable? Anyone know it?
