Update on the LOC Rev5.

Only a slight increase in cabin noise and my car is a spyder which suits me as on long runs I cant take the racket if its too loud. Totally manageable noise levels in town so as not to be too stupid like my Sharkwerks track pipe on the Gt3 was. However, a lovely release of the V10 noise as you rise through the revs. The weight saving seems incredible as I carried in the old unit for a future in the attic and its a heavy beast. No fault lights etc and you cant visibly tell its fitted.

I would recommend it but I am unable to compare with other brands or designs other than the pre LP standard system.

Good stuff Nigel, I know the LOCs are very popular over state side and I'd love to compare it to my Tubi on my Pre-LP car. I don't think I could bring myself to run a standard exhaust on these, they just sound wonderful through the gears.

I was amazed by the weight of the back box on my LP spyder when I swapped it for a Larini Clubsport.

I bought mine here below and the exchange rate was favourable. There are cheaper options but I had heard this one before and knew it was the only one for me>

And thats with the cats still in place.
Nothing comes close to this system for high pitched scream. Under load they just sound ridiculous.
Zero drone in the cabin.

I had a Fabspeed on before the LOC and it wasnt a patch on it.
Nothing is as high pitched on that car if you're looking for that kind of sound, as the LOC.
I thought the RSC unit sounded nasty.

Each to their own of course, its a personal thing.
LOC Rev5 all the way along with de-cat sounds epic on my SL
The LOC rev5 has a half flap along with bleed holes in the flap in each tail pipe so it never fully closes at low speed.
This appears to keep just enough back pressure and keep the pulses in check to avoid and cell lights...
happy days
