Service History

The previous owner would not use a dealer as he had bad experience and would only trust a respected specialist hence Grimaldi. It was nothing to do with cost saving as such, as the bills from grimaldi were no cheaper to dealer costs. But if a multi millionaires can hand over their brand new car to a trusted specialist, I guess they must have some good reputation. Obviously this is not everyone's taste as most of the public will only acknowledge a dealer stamp. I have no issue using a trusted indi but only having to worry about holding the vehicles value as much as poss.
If it was a £65k car, I would not even worry about it as it wouldn;t get much lower whether it was dealer or indi services.

I agree with using an indie and do so myself or have done on both previous Ferraris, its just unusual to do so from new, normally with these kind of cars you expect to see the first 3 or so services (within the warranty period) done by official dealerships and then after that a respected indie, as per one of the other posts its nice as a buyer to see full main dealer service history albeit that may not mean anything in the real world.
on a 2011 car like yours or mine I wouldnt expect to see indie stamps due to the value of the cars.
