I'm only 10min from the local dealer...

But that car above is on the other side of the country / continent !
I will be over there next week anyways...

There was the anniversary 560-2 white one that was sold very fast for 375kAUD
Near me theres a 550-2 black one for 260kAUD advertised 2011 with about 11k km

I would like a keeper; so prefer one of the special models rather than an 'ordinary' lambo ...

I think the Gallardo holds itself very well next to the huracan !
10 mins away is great for the annual service as can walk home which saves hassle.
I am sure you keep an eye on the classifieds here but that anniversary is strong money whereas the 550 is about right.
A little bit of a wind up but if you look at the recent "Gallardo specials" thread you will see that certainly here the standard 550-2 appears to be rarer than the balboni and the anniversary models, am going to try and get exact numbers from Lamborghini some day.

Lambo.

It will be miles faster, more of an event, and more fun, and more of a life experience. The Porsche, as good a car as they are, are very ordinary now. Porsche is becoming BMW, good cars, but "everyone" (ok I know exaggeration), has one.

I know what you mean regarding the porsche... I feel they are great cars but overpriced because they don't give me that 'special' feeling biggrin

As an aside theres 5 performante in Australia: 1 green, 1 orange, 2 white, 1 black ...

Trying to get an LP SL I was told may be difficult as owners are apparently holding onto them... until the Huracan SL

Anyone know of the software update to make them (Huracan) more tail happy and have experience with the difference? (i.e. reduce understeer)

Well as they say... the journey is part of the fun!

Brand new UK prices are about 1/2 of Australian prices after conversion... however atm your cars 2nd hand are about the same or even more expensive than Australian delivered ones!

I was thinking if the SL is really that rare out your way it could be worth considering

I've looked at that green one many times. It's stunning! But I also find 22k km to be 'high' for a supercar.

I'll keep checking back to see how you progress with this choice smile

don't discount the 550-2 esp if it is a manual car...... go and drive it, and green or orange is the colour for a Gallardo..... black hides the lines.

I guess the obligatory photo...

Flying across country to pick it up and take it for a road trip in a week!

Would have liked a citrus colour but white looks quite smart!
