Morning guys, now the sun has finally come out I filled the car with petrol last weekend.
Is it just the pump I was using or are they a nightmare to fill up ?
I tried all angles etc to no avail, anyone else have the same problem ?

I've never had a problem.

Make sure the nozzle is fully inserted and near vertical (oooh-err, missus).

thumbup Good to hear you've finally needed to put some petrol in. biggrin

Give it a good rattle about when you finished as well, very annoying when the nozzle dribbles fuel all over the car after you lift it out.

Fill mine once or twice a week! Every now and then I have the same problem. Very, very annoying and it takes an age to subsequently fill, with the trigger half pulled. But it's a rare occurrence. I always assume that that particular pump is pumping at too high a pressure, and splashback is activating the cut-off switch prematurely.

Hi, yes exactly as you say, maybe try another pump or garage.
This was my local shell.

Just a quick update, I fueled up again at the weekend and had no problems this time, same garage different pump.
Can only assume faulty gun as you say above.

Filling up a gallardo is a work of art...preparing the surrounding area with paper towels, chatting to those who come and take pics...
