Hey guys OP here, thanks for all the advice etc.. but like i already said, we have our priorities straight, save like a b
h for flat first, then rent that out, live with parent pay off mortgage for tenants rent.. so in years to come i can move into my flat practically already mortgage paid off +capital appreciation, so i can sell and buy a bigger house; all from a little investment before im 20.
A Lamborghini is that childhood dream & that is the drive that gives us our entrepreneurial spirit, That is what separates us from the clock on clock off 9-5 for the rest of your life. I don't NEED a Lamborghini to be happy, but id certainly like one!
If only life were simple as that..interest rates increase, negative equity sets in, tenants default, void periods, refurb costs...deja vu? Priorities change and cars will come and go IMHO..

I've started to compile stats on prices - a bit like Aldous Voice does on the 360. Thought it might be helpful to those buying

OP HERE! - crazy look back at this post when i was dreaming all those years a go.
I was 16 in 2013 when my dream Lamborghini was released. I asked myself how will i ever achieve this goal to one day owning one. With only 4 remaining in this colour RHD in the UK I knew my chances were slim let alone making the money to buy it. However call it fate or luck but 9 days after my daughter was born Tom Hartley had one for sale & I was not ready to buy it. As you can imagine obviously it sold instantly. Fast forward a few months and I see another red Gallardo perf being serviced at a garage near me! I went and asked if the owner would sell they told me he will NEVER sell!
I thought another one would not come up for a long time and my chances to own one were going to be impossible. Then at night a few weeks ago I was checking all over the internet to find one as usual and there it is! A Rosso Mars Gallardo in a beautiful spec listed for auction! I knew I had to act quickly and before the car even went live I made an offer as a serious buyer - sold some investments and got the finance together to purchase it from a great man called Will in his 70s. Untouched with less than 500miles put on the car in 9 years hidden away in his personal collection
I can now proudly say I am the owner of a Lamborghini Gallardo Performante Edizone Technica finished in the one and ONLY colour for me Rosso Mars.

However, you never did answer the thread title.
How did you do it?

congrats and well done.... 500 miles, wow, important as several of the other red ones were famously crashed
I wish! This Gallardo had 19k miles put on in 3 years since release in 2013 and in 2016 Will purchased the car and for 9 years he barely put 500miles on it...
A total garage queen! I am honoured he sold it to me and as the third owner of such a rare masterpiece is truly a phenomenal feeling.
I've already done 350miles+ in a few days since collection

Well done, these are great cars - I was going to bid on this on C.Cars, and I spotted it went straight to the sold section without any bidding, so interesting to get the full story on why.
I had one of these in 2019 for a year and they are great, if you want a bit more noise/drama buy a Larini Clubsport exhaust for it, as it makes quite a difference...

Well done! I hadn't read this thread originally - or would've forgotten, it's been a while - but was surprised at one or two of the comments e.g. that you shouldn't have owning a Lambo as an ambition!
I did too, from about 8 or 9 years old (it was a Countach back then, poster on the wall), and I achieved it back in 2017! These sorts of things are entirely positive and reasonable ambitions and motivations in life - it's not for everyone, but for some of us its a real moment of achievement. So congrats to you - virtual fist-bump or whatever the kidz do!

And still no update of how it was achieved This Gallardo had 19k miles put on in 3 years since release in 2013 and in 2016 Will purchased the car and for 9 years he barely put 500miles on it...
