Hi All

Hoping someone can help. I am looking to get hold of the internal parts of a gallardo wing mirror, drivers side, as it was recently knocked. The mirror casing, glass, paint, electrics, are all fine, but it seems the internal arm frame (plastic part) has broken (sort of a cross shape in cross section). This seems to be the part that is attached to the door (covered by the bodywork 'sleeve')

I'm wondering if anyone here can assist with either fixing this or just that new part, as the entire mirror is fine apart from this?

I believe it is this part:

Any help gratefully received!

Many thanks

Hi Mark,

Unfortunately this seems to be common, I have the same problem due to an incompetent transport company (carshippingtospain) who are now denying any responsibility, of course, as I wasn't there to receive it.
If you have time and can wield a spanner a little take a look at the following link

Hope this helps, unfortunately I wont have time and am just going to have to bite the bullet on Lamborghini's price, as it's come back for service, I fly in collect it, and drive back down to Spain.

Unfortunately you cant buy those parts seperately - keep an eye out on eBay as they pop up reasonably regularly. I posted up a 'wanted' in this forum and managed to find a complete mirror assembly for £100 that someone had kicking around. If I recall correctly the cheapest mirror assembly from the dealers is around £6-700 (plastic unpainted) going up to around £2k for a superleggera carbon one.

I did the swap over myself - it is easy enough to do but slightly fiddly. I helped a guy in the US do the final stages and he did a right up:
