I have one of his and unfortunately it doesn't work. update loads and then works but maps don't load. PLus it has buggered up my cd changer as well so more inclined to get a 2nd hand original one.
I don't really fancy paying upwards of £300 for a new one as seems a typical Lambo rip off when you can get the same Audi one for a 1/10 of that.

Really, I was of the impression given from various forums this wasn't the case at all?I seem to recall there are 2 or maybe 3 types of RNS-E. Which one did buy? Can you recall?

Hi Zeus. Yes, most definitely. I think the update has worked, or partially, as I get an <e> now in the dash display when it's on. Used to get the outside temp I'm sure before.Worth a shot.?
I'm guessing the <e> is for error.

As suggested, ordered an audi satnav dvd. £14.00 off ebay. order at 4pm, arrives next morning.
CD changed and iPod connector now working again and I have 2015 maps, 6 digit postcode search and speedcam locations. All for £13.99! And no, it doesn't change the Lambo power on logo to the Audi as some forums suggest.
So all you people asking about Lambo Nav dvds. Just get an Audi one for next to nothing. Sorted....

Yep. As said above, The RNS-E is an Audi unit built by Audi so I don't understand why people would think it wouldn't work. Just typical forum bulls

I'll admit, we took one from an RS4 and TTRS before buying one to make sure they do work but I really feel sorry for anyone who pays more than £15 for a new disc..
