Compared to the F430 SCUD's the Performante and Superleggera's seem good value for what are similar spec and niche vehicles.

Any thoughts?

For sure. These are rare cars with epic performance, for me even better than the Ferraris of the same vintage.

Would have happened by now I suspect. Market has been super hot for loads of special stuff but even SL first gen cars have crept up very little. The 570 SLand Performantes are not limited editions either like the Ferraris or first gen SL

I would think there are less P & SL than F430 Scudderia??? Would that not make them limited by their rarity alone,do you actually need a plaque to make a car a limited edition?

Well. yes I think so unfortunately. A Balboni is identical to an LP550-2 in everything except a stripe, some white leather and the aforementioned plaque. They appear to be worth about £40k.

Lamborghini also don't help themselves with the frankly ridiculous number of limited edition Gallardos they ended up making.

But who knows, maybe they'll be the next big thing

Yes I think your right about happening by now if its going to.I had around 150k to spend,458's looked to expensive for the age and mileage' Mclarens just didn't do it for me and the Performante just attracted me as the car that floated my boat for the budget. I couldn't believe the price of the F430 Scudds when I looked so they were out straight away laugh

Yes, but not many. I snapped one up last year when it was up for sale.

Would have thought that's the desirable one going forward.....
