I've been running my 560 without front plate and never had any issues BUT off on a euro tour soon and have been advised that I will need a plate mounted.

Question is how? Options appear to be;

- sticker on bonnet

- lambo mounting

- screw in mounting into tow eye?

- screw in mounting to bumper?

- other, better, not ugly and not screwed into car?????

And does anyone know of anybody who actually fits any of the above that are good solutions, rather than me trying and gashing it up!!!

Thanks in advance all.

Get a slightly shorter plate and stick it to the bumper, a full size does just fit too

On my 2013 model there's nowhere on the bumper flat to fit a plate to. Used a bit of lightweight ally 200mm x 80mm approx. Two cuts, one fold and painted it matt black. Bit of 3M Dual Lock and job done. Takes minutes, painting is the longest part. Used a slightly shorter plate than standard and now it looks like it's floating a couple of mm in front of the bumper - dead central and has never fallen off. No drilling and fairly easy to pop off for pics etc.

Got pulled a couple of times in UK for running no front number plate, the 1st time was on the very 1st day back in Devon.

570-4 aperture is smaller and full size plate wouldn't fit very nicely so went with smaller 330 mm plate with 85mm characters from memory and ordered the Lambo fixing bracket £85.
Had to drill 4 small holes on the underside of the bumper but you would not notice them unless you got down on the floor if it was removed later.
Straight forward enough to do yourself with some assistance for holding and marking etc. As with these sort of things, measure and mark several times to make sure you are 100% happy before drilling
Definitely looks smarter than a full length plate and without hassle of getting stopped for none at all

Thanks chaps. I've ordered a smaller plate today and will get a bracket I think. Can't see a better end state than either of you have achieved. Cheers.

if you have the pre facelift lp560, the bumper is not so aggressive and will allow a plate to be stuck to it, the angles and bends are too bad.... lambo London gave me stick on or bracket options.

I have used a suction cup mounted plate on the front of my Gallardo for years.

I use 2 of these suction cups and also place some think foam strips on the sides and bottom of the back of the plate to tilt it up and protect the paintwork.
