Biggest market. From memory, think the US accounts for a quarter or third of all global Lambo sales.

I don't like to turn up at a garage and time waste. I have VVS close by, but it is by appointment only, so I wouldn't bother calling up to have a look around with no intention to buy.
I haven't a clue where the next nearest Lambo showroom is.
you must be close to Lamborghini Sevenoaks then....
Ask for Max at Pangbourne they are very obliging, coffee biscuits chat about cars!!!

Now the dust has settled a bit, presumably a ban is in place, just thought I'd reflect on the Performante. Spent quite a lot of time on the Lambo stand last Friday and enjoyed both the hospitality and the cars.
In the metal the car is very impressive with an aggressive stance helped by the wider front splitter and high rear spoiler. Must admit I am a bit old skool about carbon fibre but the forged composite is growing on me and the gloss version on both front splitter and rear spoiler looks very good. Still not convinced about the matte version on the inside, but I suspect it is a grower as well.
The matte orange suits the car well, and is a good addition to the matte palette, however I don't understand why the second Performante was a matte finish as well, it would have been good to see a solid colour car to compare with. The alcantara inside is great, Lambo seem to do a really rich black, but the laser cut is a bit too much for my taste, I preferred the relative simplicity of my 570SL, but I know it is available as an option not mandatory.
I really liked the centre lock wheels on the second car, they are very delicate by comparison and look very effective on the car probably a good choice if you like to see your colour coded calipers.
Managed to get hold of the price list on my return to the UK and specced 'my' car up to just under £250k. There's the rub, is the Performante worth an additional £100k to me, sadly not. It's lovely and beautiful, aggressive and purposeful but as I don't track my cars and I suspect much of the clever aero will be wasted on UK roads I shall have to wait until they return to the market.
This is in no way a pop at those that do, I think it will be a wonderful ownership proposition and the king of the ring crown is nice to have. As stated all of the above is just my thoughts and opinions I'm sure there will be many others, equally as valid.
As a final thought can I ask those that are going ahead to consider Giallo Inti, bicolore interior without the laser cut and centre locks please?
Enjoy.
I certainly understand your point especially when a purchase is right on the threshold of your comfort zone,it will be interesting to see how these cars are specked and what their perceived values they will demand in the market. I've got mine at about 235k!

You're just as bad but at the other end of the spectrum.

Why do these cars bring out the children in some grown men?

I honestly don't understand how adults with the wherewithal to make the money to buy these cars regress, to their kindergarten years and clutter the forums with infantile point scoring, wumming and top trump bks.

Please stop!
Purple, Yipper could be right about the future,Manual Balbonis are silly money and the Perfotrmante could go 300k plus, so why not post your comments in a reply that you think Yipper is right or wrong and In your opinion for what reasons.

It is not Yipper that is making silly comments about one in each colour is it?

Lets keep away from calling other posters childish for no good reason, unless of course some of those other poster are in fact just that!

In response I got a very good spec at 232K so 245 is unnecessary for this type of car!

You can ask whatever you like...............
I wonder who's idea it was to ask £300k, has to be one of the most overpriced cars on the market right now
And whilst I have a long wait the most under priced-car as a stop gap!!!

Your taste in cars is very similar to mine. Lamborghini's and top notch JDM stuff. I used to have a 500bhp fully HKS prepped FD RX7.

The HP buzz is starting to lift Gallardo Superleggera prices. Gen-1 prices nudging up to £125k, and gen-2 up to £150k in the past few weeks.
Wishful thinking I reckon, I haven't seen any rise in prices at all.
Not at all nono
