Creating a thread about posts you don't like for other people to read and discuss
and then advising people not to post stuff you don't like....
but also asking "Are there rules on posting subjects? ......and I'll say what I like when I like, End Of"

confused

So I can post if I have something to contribute that only agrees with you? ...so not a discussion?
or perhaps maybe we can all say what we like when we like, end of...and you can ignore the naysayers... which would mean the thread is kind of pointless if you took your own advice...

Bearing in mind those drive lesser vehicles shouldn't be allowed to contribute, they're lesser people by definition.

Passion and enthusiasm are great thing, but you know when a child or a puppy gets so over excited they begin to lose control...yeah...
Moaning and whinging aren't great things, this thread is about moaning

But if I may, from an owner of a lesser car to keep the thread positive and show some enthusiasm....Lamborghini, well done... clap
No just say something about the topic, the car no problem but you don't need to keep commenting on me personally. If you think they cheated that's fine,I will say they probably didn't,that's debate. This is topic about comments from people who said it couldn't and will not have done it, its now about those people going into denial, all I am asking is if those in denial want to see the light in light of the evidence. They can say why they do or why they do not want to but its not about "Oh another thread about a thread that's already running" because if you read it it's NOT, its different for the a fore mentioned reasons!!!

It's a museum piece. It's lovely but I'd almost want to keep it immaculate and not drive it. Any engine tuning?
Engine has Ross Sport Long Rod Job,Cams,Turbo Etc Running about 450BHP and might scrape under 1300kgs
Who is the builder? Does he have a website? I'm interested in his creations.

The owner did the full build himself, check out Ross Sport and Norris Designs for all things EVO

All in a relatively small garage space yikes

Well as a succinct and well worded response, I think that would have sat very well in the original thread about the car and it's lap time...
As it is, the direction of the discussion has been missed by most/all and failed...and then you've derailed you're own intention by posting stuff about your new addition..

I think perhaps that car deserves it's own thread, so you don't feel got at...and the Evo can admired seperately.

Yes I wouldn't normally throw an EVO on here but thought people might be interested to see my eclectic view and passion for all things automotive, lets call it a diversion or alternative. I bought literally on the hoof as I just loved the passion and effort with which the owner built it. Having had meany EVO's the older lightweight cars are great fun for the buck and keep us attached with our past.

I will enjoy the car but it will be kept as new in line with the effort of the build.

There is a long thread for this on the MLR so it has a correct home for longer discussion,I was just pleased that the previous owner wanted to sell it and thought it worth sharing here?

What evidence? A car most assuredly did a 6:52 lap. That there is no doubt. What the mechanical spec of that car however or it's tyres remain to be seen.

For those people who are adamant the lap is perfectly legit and the performance is reflective of a customer car - do you also believe the SV that did a 6:59 was 100% customer spec outside of the rollcage for safety?

I Bought the car of the guy he sold to, he was scared to use it as it was so clean so sold out for a daily driver!

Tactless question but what did you pay? Ball park figure if need be. I just don't have a clue what an EVO in that condition is worth.

The Evos were way ahead of their time. So tunable.

In that condition circa 25k but where do you find one like that.Depends if you want highly tuned or more reliable power 500BHP is ample for plenty of fun and very reliable, 600-800BHP just constantly breaks everything. Rust is the major enemy so must be avoided. The older 6RS and Tommi Mak's are the ones to go for. Try find a good import with some nice shocks brakes exhaust etc then spend 5k to polish it off circa 450-500bhp.

Jeeze I would have hated to have been at school with some of you,I bet you were a right little bunch of bullies, anywayI'm just so pleased that you find my threads that entertaining yikes

I did have some respect for RamboLambo but constantly jiving and Lamborghini (not me) its the product that he constantly slags of,then I am afraid I have lost any respect that I might have had for anything he says,

Seriously 5'9" and your head sticks out of the roof of a Huracan, that's just derisory for derisorys sake,if your head does stick out then you must need corrective surgery.Apes arse pics, not necessary is it it really,In comparison I think I said the lines of the 720 are not doing it for me right now, that's more of a forum answer than a childish spat ?

Quotes that I couldn't drive one anyway and I wouldn't get round in 9 minutes let alone 7,really makes little sense when you know nothing about me does it?

Anyway you can Gang up as much as you like, i wont be topping myself.

In the meantime I and as you appear to want to change the subject I've bought a nice little project car at the other end of the price spectrum, God only knows what replies this will receive but at least it shows my eclectic interest in vehicles laugh Anyway its fantastic work !

I don't think sarcasm translates on a forum.
Anyway Love the evo but it needs to be dirty to be a proper rally car.
I just hope you don't get slaughtered by certain posters ( not me ) for your single garage and humble abode
Thats a very shallow comment....you need to lick a large bar of soap!

I think Rambo's post references an older one he made with his cars parked in front of a house/garage and the comments it got. .... I think I spend too much time on here

I understand his reference but based on his general demeanor on here the 'humble abode' comes across as a patronising and snide "I'm considerably richer than yow" point scoring dig.

but lets not be under the impression the OP isn't averse to equal if not more direct patronising...

"You spend all day watching super cars go by, so your a security guard and spend a lot of time in a hut boxedin
You obviously want to own one, you're jealousy wreaks which is why you say they are all st
You clearly don't understand engineering because you spend so much time in a shed

I know who you are, censored

loser "

It goes along with many posters wanting to know what a contributor drives by way of justifying their 'knowledge' or 'opinion'. Hoping for an opportunity pour scorn...
I imagine there are a number of well educated experienced opinionated types that drive lower order or less expensive cars and an equal number of douche bags owning the more valuable coveted ones...

Hey everyones' got an opinion on something that will offend someone else.
It's how you respond that matters.
No doubt if you go back through everyones posting history there will be an example of being a tit....

It'd be nice that once pointed out, 'you' refrain from repeating the same failure, time after time...after time...
I guess that won't happen as PH takes on new and fresh members every day...

In summary
Well done Lambo
who really gives fk if the Performante time is legit, anything under 7 minutes on that track is a monster
Lovely Evo

Happy Friday everyone! hehe
