Im coming from a Porsche 997 turbo. Ive owned various Porsches, Astons and Ferraris. Im considering a Gallardo Spyder. What's everyones views on LP V non-LP? What are the things to look out for? How reliable are they?. Any must have options?

Thanks all

I had a pre-LP Gallardo Sypder, and I have an LP one that I have decided is a keeper.

Pre-LP: had to have it carted back on flat-beds from just about every corner of the UK. In hot weather, like we're having now, in traffic queues on the N. Circular Road, the verious fault warning lights used to come on like a Christmas tree.

LP: better engine, better clutch. Has an accelerator pedal instead of a piece of a farm gate. Almost all of the other 'they could have done that better' niggles on the pre-LP are resolved on the LP.

IMO: all of them, with the exception of CCBs and TV receiver.
