Anyone know of any pre-LP manual spyders for sale? Been keeping an eye out and yet to see any well maintained ones for sale
Have you seen this one ... It was up for sale around the time I was looking for mine summer 2016. Looks like its being advertised for around 15k more. I was not sure about the decals so did not look at it. Edited by jilap on Saturday 30th September 02:47

It was a very good car and properly maintained when my pal Matthew had it. The decals were for our Le Mans trip.Edited by jilap on Saturday 30th September 02:47

Congratulations Deano, is that the op's car...
I would say most sales are in the run up to le man's, so from march onwards...
Thank you and no it's not the OP'S car, this one is a 62 plate, 10k on the clock, I know it's wrong time of year to buy a convertible but it was too good of a deal to turn down and the quest for a 458 wasn't exactly going as planned.........I would say most sales are in the run up to le man's, so from march onwards...

Looks beautiful. Like you, I’ve been looking at 458’s and Gallardos. The G sounds amazing and is really quick.
Ps. I really like the black wheels on it. Suits a yellow car.
Thanks Chris, It proved difficult to get the right spec 458 at a decent price, we both looked at that one in Graypaul Ferrari Brum and you know how that ended for me.....Ps. I really like the black wheels on it. Suits a yellow car.
Hopefully something will come up for you soon, good luck.

I like the black wheels. My SL2 has dark grey ones (not sure of official name). Yellow cars with black/grey wheels imo look great. Same with Orange. Black wheels suit that too.
Black wheels on any car look terrible, you lose all detail in the wheel design and it just looks like you are running an old set of steelies with no hubcaps. I have the dark grey/gunmetal wheels on my orange SL2 and they seem to work but black is just a big design 'no no'. Silver wheels make the yellow paintwork 'pop', but black makes it look dull. However the OP can happily disregard my comments on the wheels as it's just my opinion. Besides the wheels, the car looks great and I wish the OP all the best with his new toy :-)
