So a bog standard McLaren was faster than the latest and greatest super fast ALA Lambo - this can’t be - where is Yipper when you need him to refute such claims
Carbon tub for the win
The HP was able to go around the track without breaking down and getting towed back to the dealer Carbon tub for the win

Ditto, I prefer to spend my time around people that have made there own fortune rather than born/inherited into it as that mob is about as boring and classless as Kia Salesmen
So you didn't even get an invite Edited by Turbo cab on Saturday 17th February 23:02

for what it's worth- not everyone who has inherited money is an idiot, childish or ungrateful...
Exactly right...In my opinion there is no correlation between wealth (inherited or self made) & being a total dikk!!
I've met many a self made multi who I wouldn't spend 2 mins of my time with!!
Back on topic, I'm picking up a Performante in a couple of weeks. The opportunity came up to purchase a delivery-mileage car for sensible money and I couldn't refuse.
It's quite a controversial spec, it has (gasp) comfort seats. A lot of my cars have buckets - my wife hates bucket seats and refuses to travel in them which greatly limits the usability. Also I like some touring ability in my cars. I'm sure it will hurt resale a bit but that's less important.
The car also has LDS, hence my question a few days ago.
Pics when it arrives.

I would've expected the people who have the intelligence and wherewithal to amass the funds to buy these cars, to be above such pettiness.
My thoughts exactly but you always get trolls that just try to derail any discussion and add nothing of value.I suggest you revisit the thread and see who has actually contributed to the discussion and those that have solely come on here to make personal attacks and abusive comments towards me.
Ridiculous statements about inherited wealth, no class, no relationship with supplying dealers, advertising revenue etc all personal attacks and nothing to do with the car by small a petty minded people who are simply jealous

Hello. So had a run-in with police about the lack of front reg plate on my Performante. I have got the bracket for mounting the plate but it seems pretty savage to just screw it into the nose and splitter on the thing. Has anyone on here fitted one or even better come up with an alternative?

Give these guys a try.https://www.fourdotdesignerplates.co.uk
Alternatively some others go with a sticker type plate applied to the top of the bumper which looks pretty cool.

Haha, well the Purplemante isn't the most stealthy of chariots, bound to happen. I don't know if you've noticed my front plate on the Gallardo but it's been held on for years by suction cups along with some foam backing to the plastic number plate.I've a few spare you can try but they are like these. 40mm, thumb screw type. You might well have to run some kind of 90 deg bracket to yours though.
