At the current rate of manufacturers producing so called “future classics” the choice will be overwhelming! You haven’t spotted the pattern yet? The market is determined to run itself into a blind corner on this one.

Besides as much as I like the HP - it doesn’t pass the “proper Lambo” test - it’s doors don’t swing up! But I respect other people’s choices. Enjoy in good health.
I'll swap the doors over from my 650s spider and that will stop people asking me "is it a Lambo ? " followed by "oh its a McLaren wow, is it a P1 ?"

Obviously would prefer billionaire doors on the lambo but you cant have everything and I think the engine, sound and drive will more than adequately take care of the theatre and drama and make up for the entry system

I believe the new emission changes have something to do with particulate filters. BMW just announced that they're ceasing production of the M3 and a new model won't be out until 2020/21. I don't think a NA V10 will be around for much longer.

IF the Huracan Performante is the last normally aspirated V10 engine Lamborghini it clearly would only have a positive effect on future values, just like 458 Speciale and a nice Brucie bonus as I did not necessarily expect the death of the N/a engine until after the gen II Huracan as 12 months ago Lamborghini said they were sticking to their principles and retaining the engines.
Its either more forum bullst or I can only assume the emission legislations have been cranked up further again leaving them no choice.

It would be a fitting way for such a great engine to go out in the best and fastest ever Lamborghini in the Huracan Performante.

Suddenly £30k premiums will look like a bargain

Lol.

It is interesting to see how many people's faces sink in disappointment at petrol stations when a Lambo rolls up and it does not have scissor doors. It is like a cake without a cherry on top. Surprised more owners don't add aftermarket scissor doors to Huracans and Gallardos (even accounting for cost and weight). They defo add extra theatre.
Wow

Pulling up in a petrol station in a Lambo has the same effect scissor doors or not!
Ffs, sink in disappointment, what utter tosh!

All this talk of £30k premiums that from where i'm sitting seem to be pretty non existent as the cars are still sitting and not moving and then we have this;

https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

£5k over from my calculations.

I have a spyder on order for later in the year and was considering an SV Roadster to tide me over in the meantime but i'm seriously considering this.

Here in North America silver is the worst colour for resale both on the H and A which is why the HP you posted is "only" £5k over.

A stock mp4-12c in a drag race with the HP.

Quite staggering that a 5 year old stock Mclaren can still put the current star car in its place in a drag race.

Owner wants his money back quick and when it didn't flip for a big profit straight away he just wants out. Not representative of the others on the market.
My local dealer has just sold its high spec high mileage 6 month old demo for £10k over and again in a colour which isn't dersirable or worth its £15k price tag IMHO
Stop the yapping and Get it bought I would say !

Full deposit paid for the Spider. I appreciate the need to ensure you don't drop a b*llock on a new car but it would be quite refreshing to hear people talking about the actual ownership of the bloody things and not if they might make some cash. When I'm dribbling into a pot and I can't wipe my own bum I will take pleasure in the memories these sorts of cars allow us. It's a complete honour to be in a position to own these cars if you're fortunate enough to afford them and as a life long car fan I am beyond excited at the prospect of having this beast joining the stable.
Hey mate,
Sorry for asking, but I was considering a performante spyder as a car that could be incredible, and was considering putting a deposit down in the next 2 weeks! Having driven the coupe performante, I’m hooked! I was wondering how long the expected lees time the dealership told you until delivery, and how long mine would be if I were to order in the next couple weeks?
Thanks!

I've had a Performante Spyder deposit down for 9 months now when I originally ordered the coupe which gets delivered in March.

Probably less deposits for spyders than coupes overall but also believe the build slots will be less in line with the coupe/spyder demand split.

As a guess and judging by the info I've gleaned from my local dealer, as the car hasn't officially been launched yet ( At Geneva I'm told), if you order NOW before it hits the press it could be 12 months as I'm expecting mine, which is the first at dealer, to be in Q4 2018.
If you leave it until after Geneva who knows, you might not even get a slot especially if they announce gen II Huracan is going hybrid which is the rumour.

If I was you and you are serious get your cheque book out at get to the dealer pronto.
Being the last naturally aspirated V10 Lambo could become a big thing for an already exceptional car.

That's probably what the camo is hiding. Looks good though.

Ha, they managed to sell enough of the original Gallardo Performantes so I don't think it will be a problem. Anyway, given that the spoiler is 100% functional and an essential part of the ALA I think it is more than acceptable. There is another spyshot taken at the same time which shows a bit more of the rear aerodynamic arrangements as well as the full camo ones and Lambo look to have done a neat enough job on it. Looking forward to seeing the official release photos which should be due soon. Geneva is not too far away. Personally I think it should look fantastic as I love the more roadster design of the Huracan Spyder compared to the Gallardo.
