Hi

I have been offered a delivery slot for a Performante Spyder for September 2018. My plan is to keep it for 3-9 months.

Any thoughts on the way the price will go, as Im fairly new to the Supercar world.

Many thanks

If you use it I’d expect to lose a few quid but not your shirt, if you flip it maybe make a few quid. Expect to pay a dealer 10k to sell it for you which will be the best part of your profit gone.while these are a great car they’re not unlimited so they’ll not go up much.
The problem soon in my opinion will be a glut of very good super cars available.
Just an opinion tho!

Saw one at the factory yesterday with the roof down.
Looks very neat.

But buying any new mass produced sports car and selling in back to the dealer after 6-9 months, -15-20%?

I don’t think these will be rolled out very fast so first few will be a slow fall in my opinion. The 720 will come down quickly because it’s being shoved out relatively quickly. Nothing to do with it’s quality just oversupply, I think Lamborghini learnt their lesson with the original Huracan.

How have you managed that ? Can't imagine that you have jumped the queue so is from someone who had already put a deposit down

I was first to put a deposit down for a spyder at my local lambo dealer and all I've been told is to expect it Q4 2018. Plan is to spec it at Geneva in a couple of weeks.

There will be fewer spyders than coupes and I think production will end June 2019 when gen II Huracan is due

Don't be bitter - sometimes these things do happen depending on the dealer used.

Also the fact that you have had yours on order for a while and not received it yet, when I could have placed an order in early December and had it delivered next month tells me that you don't have a particularly good relationship with your dealer. Either that or there not savvy enough to move you along the que as and when slots become available sooner....

Also I'm surprised you've had to wait to Geneva to spec your Spyder, I was requested to lock in my spec when I placed my order a couple of weeks ago with also a confirmed Q4 delivery.

They make 13 Huracans a day. I’m don’t know the split between variants.

You don't half talk some carp at times, but at least its amusing to watch you make yourself look like a clown. Spyder hasn't even be launched or specs confirmed so would love to see your order form
I've always wanted the coupe for March you donut and my dealer who I have a very good relationship with is flying me out and putting me up for 2 nights for their VIP event and then on for a factory tour.
Thankfully I doubt I will see you there

The general opinion around here is along with Yipper, you are the official PH Spactards. The only reason the mods let you spout your crap is due to you paying to advertise, otherwise you would have been banned a while ago like the rest of the forums that don't entertain your st due to you acting like a petulant little child despite being very much middle aged.

It's exactly the same as the coupe with the exception of the base price yet to be released you tt - There is no increase in the price of options although more than happy to share to satisfy your curiosity.

NEWSFLASH - its not an exclusive invite specially catered for you, offered with ALL new orders on Special Lambos depending on dealer and also the option to spec at the factory with tour. Do you also expect us to believe that if you were offered one of the first cars wouldn't of accepted? Who wants the latest greatest car 4 months after release when its old news, only to get a spyder 6 months later when winters setting in, but yet i'm the one that talks carp rofl

You are no doubt correct but I do know the UK dealers are only getting a low number of cars this year possibly a days production each based on that number you quote.
Meanwhile the 720 is being offered on here with big discounts and as also mentioned previously it’s in no way an inferior car and in many ways better but they’re too readily available.

I split my time between London/Vancouver/LA and what I was told by Lambo of Newport is that the HP coupe production will be cut and Spyder production will ramp up. Like already mentioned above no pricing has been announced but dealers in North America will now make owners taking delivery of the HP and HP spyders sign a 1 year no flipping and no export agreement. Usually these agreements have no weight but in the US they sue you for the stupidest things so it might deter some people.

On a side note, the SV Jota is now been offered to select customers. The preview will be a exclusive event some time this summer, no pricing yet but rumor is it'll be around $800k US dollars.

I would've expected the people who have the intelligence and wherewithal to amass the funds to buy these cars, to be above such pettiness.

My thoughts exactly but you always get trolls that just try to derail any discussion and add nothing of value.
