According to this site there's 74 HP's registered in the UK, not sure how accurate this site is.

https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/?utf8=%E2%9C%93&...

The Performantes although not limited or numbered was only going to be built for 2 years so it will have a finite life. I'm guessing 1,000-1,200 HP's worldwide.

Sounds about right and another 9 months of production so might get up to 2,000 worldwide and 125 in UK which is what I kind of expected

Do you have a delivery date for the Spyder yet? I notice a couple of Spyders have hit Autotrader already.

When production stops and the new Huracan is released it will be interesting to see how the market reacts..... 125 In the UK does seem pretty low considering how many are up for sale but you may be right.

I'm thinking a lot people bought the coupe to flip for profit or they're selling to get into a spyder. Like the UK market, the US market also has quite a few coupes for sale abut surprisingly the prices haven't dropped by much. Good spec HP's with low mileage are selling for MSRP or a tad over.

HP prices should hold steady but who knows with Lambo because they might be planning another performance variant in a couple of years that will eclipse the HP.

I would say that this is a certainty. As with Aventador SV and now SVJ.

Interesting stuff KHK. That means that more than half of the UK registered Performantes are up for sale!

Or they bought cars with bucket seats and couldn’t get on with them...

My dealer told me they’re more difficult to sell on at the moment.

"Sarnie Must try harder at maths "

74/2 = 37

Where are these 37 Performantes for sale

Not including spyders I have just counted 37 on Autotrader.

Market above £200k unless limited Ferrari is clearly starting to get saturated and yet the sausage machine is still in full swing. We have the 600LT and spider variant coming, the performance spider is joining the party too. Then there is the 720 spider probably on the nearby horizon. It’s a buyers market.

Both type of seats are marmite TBH.

Some must have Carbon Buckets whilst others ( particularly larger gentlefolk but not tall ) want the comfort seat.

Dealer tells me the seat can be a deal breaker but its 50/50 as both are effectively compromised for SOME people.
I'm not tall or fat but an athletic build and I love the carbon buckets which I find incredibly comfortable if sat in properly for up to 2 hours.
I would not buy the comfort seats on a coupe but I might ( but doubt it really ) consider it on the softer spyder

The reality is the dealer will tell you what you have to offer as px is hard to sell either way when there will always be a customer for one or the other

I could of had one of the first customer cars but I'm not wanting it until March 2019 or possibly a bit later now with my latest addition so whilst I've had the deposit down over 12 months and at same time as coupe deposit I have no need to even spec it yet.
Performante production ends may 2019.

March is a long time to wait, a lot can change like the possibility of a refreshed H been announced.

I'm in a similar situation with the SVJ; dealer is giving me a slot for a coupe but delivery won't be until next summer. I'm worried about committing because the replacement A is probably less than 2 years away so I don't want to be taking delivery of the SVJ when everyone's focus shifts to the new car and you're stuck with a very expensive outdated Lambo.

Whilst fixing a small niggle, dealer informed me:

TMC - doesn’t work in the UK
Speed limit display - doesn’t work in the UK
Torque split display - doesn’t work in the UK
Alarm audible beep on lock - doesn’t work in the UK (I recall something about noise pollution legislation limiting that. If so Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche via PIWIS and BMW (F10) don’t care.)
Sat nav data updates - there have not been any from lambo, for any system, to date. Audi updates may (or may not at own risk) work

Whether individual owners care (or not) about those items, that’s up to them.
L S.p.A. called me. These are their replies:
Alarm lock beep - don’t know why it doesn’t work in the U.K., R&D are reviewing.
Torque split display - Not available, manual is wrong.
TMC and speed limit - not available in the U.K. it is under consideration to remedy.
Sat nav data updates - they intend to issue them, unknown when.

I was at the factory today. Apparently they do 13 Huracans per day, not sure the split between models.

Apparently they only started Performante Spyder customer cars about 4 weeks ago - mainly dealer demo/pre-orders before and only just ramping up now but factory shut for August.

My car is in the UK but I can’t pick it up until next week due to work commitments.

Thanks for the update, I think the next software update will sort the last two issues.

Looks like the SVJ will have same exclusivity as the HP so basically means not numbered cars but most likely a 2 year production run...

"At the Vallelunga circuit near Rome where Lamborghini invited the motoring media to try out the Aventador SVJ, the automaker made it clear that the Super Veloce Jota is more Huracan Performante than Aventador SV in terms of exclusivity. Be that as it may, don’t expect to see too many of these babies on the street because Lamborghini has always been more exclusive than Ferrari regarding build numbers."

Interesting as I have been told it’s going to be produced in limited numbers, with slightly more Roadsters than Coupes being made.... i guess we will soon find out with the official release next month.
