I know how you feel, I was advised earlier today that mine will be ready for collection next Friday.

Having had an SV over the summer after parting with my perf coupe late spring it will be welcomed with open arms, it is far superior in every way.
Congratulations, please post some pictures.

Interesting you think the Performante is so much better than the SV. The SV is my dream car perhaps I should be happy with what I already have! Ha.

I swapped my Aventador S which I bought new for a Perf. The Aventador in every guise is not a great car,a great spectacle yes and a great show boater sure but a drivers car it isn’t.

This,

I was warned on here prior to its purchase regarding its pitfalls however, when you've got an itch you have to scratch it right?

I didn't actually think the gearbox was that bad in corsa, the most frustrating thing for me was you didn't get the associated exhaust drama as you did in sport.

My biggest problem was it was such a big heavy lump it required too much hard work to extract the most from it and wow is it wide!

Show pony is about right as it had so much road presence but unfortunately lacks in smiles per miles as it is no drivers car - IMO.

Currently being pdi'd.

I actually changed my spec from the one that I posted earlier in the thread after seeing a demo in Bianco Icarus and falling in love.

Didn't bother with the diamond etch as imo it doesn't look as nice on the comfort seats as it does race ones, also left the black chrome switches as I couldn't justify it and also dynamic steer, other than that it has everything.

So excited for this biggrin

Thanks Gents.

So collection day today and observations so far.

Deffinately softer than the coupe, this may be down to the mag ride as my coupe had passive suspension or the fact they've softened it for the spyder, either way it suits the spyder well and makes for a more pleasurable drive.

When pressing on you can feel it's not as rigid as the coupe, it doesn't feel as though it flexes as much as previous Ferrari spyders I've had and it's not noticeable enough to annoy me.

The comfort seats - absolute waste of time and my biggest regret, lower back was aching after an hour on the way home and could not adjust them to cure this, at least with the buckets you can place a pillow at the lower part and it cures it - even the bulster support fully inflated does not make a difference, I'm athletic and 5ft 10 for reference.

Sensonium - not as good as in the SV, an upgrade on the standard system but not worth the money IMO.

Other than these negatives I'm super happy and will drive the absolute st out of this.

I've had a read through this thread and can see that quite a few of you chose different options. Now that you've had the cars for a while, are you happy with what you chose?

I am off to spec one of these next weekend but haven't a clue about the options (there are lots!) and which we should go for and those to avoid.

Bumping an old thread...

Out of interest how do the comfort seats in the perf compare to the carbon buckets? Had some time in a perf spider recently and the comforts seats were hurting my lower back after a couple of hours frown

I have owned a Perf with both buckets and comforts,I can honestly say the buckets are the worst seats I've ever sat in, they look great which is why I ordered them on my first car but they are just so uncomfortable and they really hurt your back as they offer pretty much zero padding, the comforts are not perfect either, however they still offer a good level of support and they are essential if you plan on using the car for more than 30 minutes at a time.

You will notice a lot of the later cars have been spec'd with comforts rather than the buckets, a number of dealers I spoke to recommended the comforts for resale as well as making the car more usable.

For me in the Spyder I am happy with the comforts. Having the top down in the winter months on a sunny day with the heated seats is an awesome experience.

I think in the Coupe I would have been much much more tempted with the buckets, they look awesome but neither option is perfect.

The comforts are far better than the buckets for me (which are really painful even though they look great with the laser etched option) - but in a spider with the roof up there is very little headroom due to the height of the comfort.

I tried the new hybrid carbon Evo seat in Geneva and it is by far the best seat Lamborghini have had in ages. Supports well, very comfortable and looks great too with the fighter jet style release in the middle.

If anyone wants a set of these a bit cheaper let me know. I’ve ordered a set and just decided to trade my Perf coupe for a Spyder with comforts.
Can be finished in red, yellow ,white or orange.

After reading many negative comments about the Performante buckets online and reviews, thought it may be a deal breaker to buying one with them fitted. Organised to test the seats and thought they seemed fine so bought one. Sure they don't have a lot of padding but I am in them 3-4hrs at a time and no problems at all.

There is not a lot of headroom so if comforts have higher seating position, that would seem a bigger issue for many.

Regardless of the seats, the engine in this car is fantastic and always a huge pleasure to drive.
