Gallardo SL at Motorhub. Am I mad?
Discussion
So this is what we know:
Non correct-modified rear decklid
Hole in front bumper (intercoolee..?)
Big red button added in center console
Unsure about:
Never seen other SL with harness WITHOUT the harnessbar.
Seats look lile the LP SL seats to me. Triangle-sharp headrests.
I do not feel comfortable, and does not sound lile the seller is going to help with that.

I'd hate to think what a Lambo vehicle check would spot if it ever got that close again to a main dealer! Don't walk away, run is what I'd recommend. It'll also be a bi*ch to resell as it'll probably be the most discussed used car on the various forums. It could be an ex-rental car that's been left registered in an individuals' name got hide it's true history. Non correct-modified rear decklid

I think you are right about the seats. I’ll check the configuration against my Gen1 SL later which has the factory fitted harnesses.Non correct-modified rear decklid

Checked the MK1 SL at VVS, seats look identical to that one.

Yeah, looks standard.Checked the MK1 SL at VVS, seats look identical to that one.
Is the steering wheel alcantara? If so it looks very used for the mileage. Something else to get checked - KMs, time in gear and at what rev range are obviously available from the ECU.
Finally, anyone looking at this should also look for the carbon front undertray.
Re other LHD cars OP - have you looked on mobile.de? There's often some nice examples on there.

ps : suede ( not alcantara ) was standard
pps : if going lhd, watch out for the 174 american cars, as the powers that be obliged them to have glass windows, standard seats etc

Good luck! These are very special cars.Note the decals are still available from Lamborghini but they're extremely expensive (get this checked but I believe they're around £700 - can't remember if per set or for a single side) - might help in the bargaining...

The mounting points for the harnesses look the same too, so that's normal.
I've checked both SLs out there, I live locally and fully aware of the dealer and their rep when I was researching them myself, useful as they were close.
I bought a perfect RHD SL1 example from a reputable dealer.
They have 'stories' as do all cars there, fine if you go in with low ball offers and have it expertly checked over or can tackle repairs yourself. The instant compromise is you'll find it very hard to move on, that might not bother you.
For example, their RHD SL is Cat D (or 'Autolign Checked' but it's still viewed as Cat D by anyone else), on it's 3rd engine, bad repairs, used replacement body parts, aftermarket ampliifer in the frunk, no history (apart from some engine rebuild invoices I saw), owned by a 'supercar hire company' whose owner is now in jail. Various clips on YT of it being bounced off the limiter at weddings/proms etc.
The LHD has various cosmetic issues at first glance, not sure about mechanicals, but from the Middle East with no service history - I'll let you decide.
You could argue the price reflects, but the fact these guys are trying to move it pretty much makes it impossible to move on afterwards, they've had the LHD in their parking lot for at least 18+months. The RHD keeps getting advertised at various outlets under different dealers at different prices.
No point in asking them questions - you will not get any truth, just go and see it - still worth a look.

but, apart from that, it's ok ?how are they still open reading their reviews?
