I think the whole supercar market is going to take a kick in the gooleys over the next few years. Sure buy a Speciale and stick it in the garage but god forbid you drive the bloody thing or you’ll see £20 notes pouring out the back..
Mac are spewing cars out at a pace that neither the market or their maintenance people can keep up with. Porsche have lots and lots of Gt cars up for sale and while Ferrari are holding firm, they as well have lots of cars that seem to not be selling.
Interesting times ahead and if money becomes more expensive these cars will become what they should and that’s driving machines and not assets that sit in peoples garage. I for one can’t wait !
My message is whatever you buy expect it to cost you a pretty penny, don’t let it put you off it but do it with your eyes open!

Just discovered that the Evo’s engine revs 500rpm lower than the Perfs, probably not significant but still something to factor in.
By all accounts from the journos in Bahrain, the Evo is capable of very lurid slides, which the car’s electronics seem capable of saving from extreme angles!

Does that mean you can now say "Watch this" and not for it to end in disaster? By all accounts from the journos in Bahrain, the Evo is capable of very lurid slides, which the car’s electronics seem capable of saving from extreme angles!

They both make the same max power at 8000 though so probably doesn't really matter according to Lamborghini spec sheet, seems if you google it different articles say different things from same limit to 250 down to 500 down.Never you mind said:

Sorry for dragging up an old thread. But it seemed the most appropriate place.
I had a short go in an Evo. They have removed the ability to display the nav display on the instrument cluster.
The nav touch unit is ok, but it’s a bit laggy. Better than some earlier generation touch screens but worse than any basic iPhone. Using the touch screen for basic functionality, whilst the current trend amongst many manufacturers, is more difficult than a simple button or rotary controller eg A/C, volume, next track/station.
TMC now works in the UK.

Interesting, I drove an Evo a few weeks back at Millbrook. It was very nice and quick!
But while the 4ws has given it a bit more stability at speed, and agility low down, it doesn’t feel quite as well connected to the tarmac as the Performante.
The problem with the screen is that there’s a lot potentially going on down there, yet you have to take you eyes off the road to see/understand it. Which in my opinion sort of negates it’s functionality, especially as Waze works so well in CarPlay now.
Anyhow, a very nice car with the best engine by miles in this sector, but I won’t be swapping the Performante for it..
