Can anyone recommend a good company to refurbish the Callisto wheels on my Gallardo please? They were kerbed once or twice (I was almost sick when it happened) whilst in Monaco earlier in the year!

Ideally, somewhere close to Herts or Essex would be ideal...

Sorry - I'm not a Lambo owner (one day...) but I have had, and also read good reviews of, PaintIt in Billericay

http://paintituk.com/

Nowhere near your level but they did some VW BBSs for me and, although bent, dented and mossy when they went in, they're now like new.

not quite as simple with Callisto wheels as you'd probably like

they are split rims with contrasting fasteners

I've seen some done without splitting and the bolts end up the same as the wheels, it looks gash

Pangbourne did mine and had to split and replace the fasteners as they are use once fasteners.

Might be better looking at a spot repair unless the whole wheel has corroded

Herts wheels in Frogmore, nr St Albans... i've had wheels and tints done by them in the past, they do a lot of high end stuff for footballers and rich types, so work on some fairly high end cars.

Fairly reasonably priced too.

Thanks guys, yeah - I heard split rims are a bit of an ar5e to do. Going to pop over to Herts Wheels in Frogmore tomorrow afternoon (cheers for the recommendation) to see what they think.

I have no personal experience on this so take it for what its worth

I have heard of someone having callistos refurbed and reusing the fixings which then were found to have worked loose at the next service

for callistos I use Lepsons. I have over 20 done by them and they have all been perfect.
As said above the split rim bolts are tricky being an odd size and being titanium. Its very very easy to damage the bolts and you cant buy them separately from Lamborghini

Another vote for BJV - while I've thankfully not needed to get my Huracan wheels tidied up yet they did an excellent job on all four of my 19" M3 wheels. They were also refreshingly honest about what they could and couldn't do, and the final results were better than I expected.
