Yellow one is very low miles, and clutch replaced at 26K too. Very nice looking motor!

No to both. I’ve been looking off and on, but have never been to pluck up the courage.

And I’ve never driven any of the cars Ive ever bought before, but what does that matter?

as a fellow vx220 former owner it remind me a lot of that but with all teh fundamental things i wanted that are better, engine/torque/noise/comfort, steering is st compared to the Vx but you can't have everything

So i reckon you'll like it

Right fk it, I'm on the lookout for a Gallardo now. I've hummed and harred too much about it, and life's too short.

ETA: Will need to move the Clio on first

Well at least Clio V6s have gone up considerably in value in your ownership period, so reducing the gap to a Gallardo. Hopefully #148 now being just 19 and up in the higher mileage (and enjoyed) group will make the price achievable for the next owner.
Good luck in selling that quickly and finding the right Gallardo for you.

I see the village bicycle is down to £57.5k. (ISTR this is an ex Vision Motorsport experience day vehicle?)

If it's as bad as Mat Armstrong's Murc, though...

It might make the other sellers panic a bit and drop their prices.

This is like stock market trading. silly

It’s a reputable dealer too supposedly. Is it an ex experience car?

It’s been for sale for a long while now which would concern me on resale.

ISTR (and happy to be told I'm wrong) that it's an ex Vision Motorsport experience car. It sold a year or so ago on Collecting Cars for £51k+fees. It was discussed in another thread on PH.

Just googled: https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2006-lamborghi...

Now: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202205135...

Yes, ad appeared on Autotrader on 13/5/22. Was up for £65k.

Not questioning Praters' reputation, though, obvs!

Probably a great buy for someone who's good with a spanner (not me!).

Blue leather interior too, which looks horrific. I'll be avoiding this one with a barge pole.

It is better than black which is a bit boring. Not sure what colour is best for an interior, though.

Much prefer the black and agree with P4CKS; the blue is hideous. Would have to price in an interior refit.

Where do you go for a service? And how much? Same about a clutch replacement (pre-LP, e-Gear)

I’ve just bought the green one from THJ. 2k miles SL 570/4 - I’m off to classic Le Mans at the moment but ridiculously excited to get it in a week or so.

Went shopping for R8’s and ended up coming home with that!

Well done on securing the green SL2. That's got the full carbon fibre interior which they don't all have and is probably the lowest mileage UK SL2. You mention shopping for an R8 but what attracted you more to an SL2 as opposed to a more modern Hurican? (This is coming from an SL fan so is in no way meant as a criticism of you choosing an SL2, just interested.)
Hi David, I slightly prefer the look of the Gallardo to the Huracan and liked the idea of a more limited ultimate version. I went to see the green car right after viewing a fairly well used R8 and just fell in love with it. It wasn’t really a super carefully researched purchase if I’m honest! But I’m very much looking forward to getting it next week.

I’ve quietly had a look at this online …. I can’t understand the MOT history and mileage though. I appreciate it doesnt require an MOT as a track car but seriously would it cover nearly 40K miles within 5 years from 2012 - 2017 just on track? It did have one MOT between those years but its states mileage ‘unknown’.

Can't imagine how tough those miles have been!

Ah thank you - that’s very interesting also. How do you find the transmission? Any particular technique to using it smoothly? And is the nose lift adequate to clear U.K. obstacles?

A car popped up on Autotrader a few days ago and the price has already been lowered about £3k. Shame it's convertible and egear. Mind you, with the current price, I'd be tempted if I was ready to buy right now.

Yeah looks a good car. I’d initially written off an e-gear but seemingly they’re not as bad to live with as you’d be made the believe, so they’re on my radar. But, alas, a convertible isn’t despite this being really good value.
