Gallardo... what's the catch?

ISTR (and happy to be told I'm wrong) that it's an ex Vision Motorsport experience car. It sold a year or so ago on Collecting Cars for £51k+fees. It was discussed in another thread on PH.
Just googled: https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2006-lamborghi...
Now: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202205135...
Yes, ad appeared on Autotrader on 13/5/22. Was up for £65k.
Not questioning Praters' reputation, though, obvs!
Probably a great buy for someone who's good with a spanner (not me!).
Blue leather interior too, which looks horrific. I'll be avoiding this one with a barge pole. Just googled: https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2006-lamborghi...

Yep, ditto. I'd rather a coupé. I just am not a fan of convertibles. Why don't you want one?
Re e-gear, you just need to check how far the clutch has gone by doing a driving off test - set off in first gear and a fresh clutch should hit 1500rpm and no more. Every 100rpm above equates to something like 20% reduction in clutch life. (Or it might be the other way round - 200pm = 10%, please google this.)
Then learn to drive e-gear as a manual in Sports mode for the quickest shifts. ISTR that lifting off the gas between gears can help preserve clutch life, too, and NEVER drive in Auto mode. I think traffic is to be avoided where possible?
I really like the roofline and the silhouette of the coupe and you lose this if you have the spider. Yeah the e-gear advice you've stated is what I've seen, read and heard from the research I've been doing. In addition, when approaching a junction etc, select neutral as opposed to letting the engine do the braking and wearing the clutch out even more.
Even still, a replacement clutch and flywheel are 'only' about £4K and if you follow the above advice it can prolong the life of it.
Have a couple of cars up for sale now so I've taken the first leap toward Gallardo ownership.

Thanks! Still hasn't sunk in and still feels like a childhood dream to me, it's due to be delivered to me in Newcastle from Fleet within the next 30 minutesMake sure we get some photos of yours, here's mine being loaded this morning

Why didn't you go for the one just north of the border. Manual, orange, coupé? Also did you testdrive the one in Fleet?
I looked at it, but I just didn't like the orange/black combo. And no, I bought it blind Here it is, tucked away (yes I know I need to update the wall art since the Clio went!):
I'll do a proper Readers' Cars thread at the weekend

Congtaulations, absolutely love that colour, there used to be similar in tvt, midas gold, is it pearlescent? Really suits it, there’s something about the Gallardo shape i adore, its very boxy which ive always liked.
Ive been looking at adding a Superleggera but the standard Gallardo i think i prefer from a looks pov, bit like the aventador, the unhalfords versions look best, + you can get a manual, yours a manual?
Saw the Collecting cars / VVS youtube video reviewing the gallardo through the ages, was quite informative, even if the guy was awful at being interviewed..
Any, looks lovely
Thank you! And yes, it is. It looked a flat yellow in the photos but the videos the seller sent me showed it in sunlight and it’s a pearlescent finish - it looks fantastic!Ive been looking at adding a Superleggera but the standard Gallardo i think i prefer from a looks pov, bit like the aventador, the unhalfords versions look best, + you can get a manual, yours a manual?
