Hi Jonny

Congrats on the car. Lovely example and Phillip is a great guy and defo a good place to purchase from.

I bought mine in August 2020. Similar to yours. Also was thinking of the bronze wheels like you mentioned too. I had seen a pic of another owners car on here which had it done in the 'show us your lambo' thread.

Loving everyone elses perf pics on here too.

Getting lots of use out of my performante. In corsa I'm experiencing an intermittent fault where the exhaust valves don't fully open. Anyone else had this?

How do you suggest to the other driver coming in the opposite direction that's it's easier for him to back up than you scratchchin

Its Jonny's private drive and there is an electric security gate at the other end so no chance of oncoming traffic.biggrin

First I have heard of this, I have noticed it may not do it if you flick the button/mode too quick.........

Glad to hear you’re enjoying the car. Loving mine too (understatement!). I’ve not had the problem of valves not opening in corsa - they remain open at all revs in mine, just switches in/off in strada only.

Most of the time thankfully I don't see another car .. I'm dreading the day I meet a tractor with a trailer!

Thats not true .. I just send my passenger on foot ahead to make sure the way is clear. Its the potholes and large rocks that mainly concern me.

I mainly use Corsa when driving, hardly ever use Sport and use Strada when its bumpy. I did start experimenting with Sport when it was bumpy yesterday but I was convinced previously there was an exhaust difference between corsa and sport. Also the corsa didnt sound quite as loud somehow. I'm sure I wasn't imagining it.

Many congratulations. It’s a lovely, lovely car - and one I was looking at too. I ended up with an identical spec one in Giallo Inti which I grabbed 2 weeks ago, just before it was advertised from Lambo Birmingham as I had a yellow car itch to scratch!

Make sure it had all the bits - compressor, centre lock lock tool etc. I also got a wireless apple play adaptor from Amazon which works well with the car.

I’d be interested to see what your initial thoughts are on the car. You are coming from a 488 - that was high up on my list of alternatives.

Strada - Exhaust valves closed (may open at higher RPM)
Sport - Exhaust valves 3/4 open, map slightly over fuels = More pops and bangs
Corsa - Exhaust Valves fully open all the time.

Sport will also change up for you so you don't bounce off the limiter

Also found out interestingly that in Corsa the front/ rear four wheel drive bias is 40/ 60 and in Sport its 10/90. I thought it would be the other way around but apparently not. I think the feeling is that if you are racing in Corsa then you need that extra on the front. So sport could be more fun on the road. I had previously just selected Corsa and not bothered with Sport.

The technician also said that the exhausts are open the same on sport and corsa. Not sure I believe this.

The other difference with Corsa/ Sport is the gear change speed that we know.

Does Corsa do anything else over the sport setting?

I suppose the usual of changing dampers and traction control, but also it enables the differential downforce of the rear wing, that helps ‘pull’ it around corners??

That is interesting.
Do you know what the split is in Strada then? confused
