Why do you think this is? Is it just a case of people avoiding the first year of any given model?

Hope you’re enjoying yours! I cancelled the sale of my V12 vantage but keep looking at the Shmoo ad
Yes I think alot of people are under the impression that the lp’s started from 2009 as there are a lot of 2008 pre lp cars out there. Personally I didn’t want an early LP, I’d rather one slightly newer that would definitely have any issues sorted on it. The 2008 cars all appear to still be for sale, there must be something putting people off them.

I have actually covered 1000 miles already, the weather has been so good it’s been hard not to take it out!!

Many congrats on your new car

Sometimes deliveries of the new model are very late in the year, so the number registered in that year are low, and if you are due a car in Dec, u might stall until jan

The LP was essentially a new car, so many parts changed, 70% if I remember correctly, so the first cars bound to have niggles that are ironed out

They continued to fix issues to the end, so the latest cars were always the most sorted

Hi guys, I’m thinking of going to see this, has anyone been? @cornershop what is the misfire issue with the Lambo and can it be easily remedied?
Thanks

Can be very simple to fix.
Get it inspected by someone suitable.

The early e-gear cars were known for eating clutches. When taking a 2011 for a test drive the salesman cautioned me to use neutral at stops lights and never backup up hill as the clutch drag wears much more than normal cars. The DCT cured the problem on subsequent models. A LARA report showing percent of clutch wear is imperative.

Ha, I love the casual tone of this, did you manage to fit in a bit of neurosurgery in between times?

driving

Brilliant stuff!

How do you find the Super Trofeo? I find the standard exhaust pretty good when the valves are open, would be nice to hear it a bit more lower down the rev range but also don't want anything too shouty. I was surprised how quiet the LP560 is when cruising, very civilised.

I was also very surprised and afew people actually commented on how civilized it was! The super trofeo is definitely louder but not obnoxious. I would 100% recommend it, I’d say it’s a 25% increase on loudness than stock which you especially notice when the valves would be closed.

The sound system in these is AWFUL, I don’t have my seat the whole way back and there was enough space to fit one of these Phoenix Gold active subs. I thought for £150 I may aswell give it a go… WOW this thing genuinely has some serious kick!! I would definitely recommend it for someone who isn’t a serious audiophile but just wants a bit more from their current set up.
