OP try Classic Insurance Services.

I have my Perf, 360 Spider and a daily X3M insured with them on a collectors policy, underwritten by Ageas. I was very pleasantly surprised by their quotation and they undercut my policy for this year from another well known broker by half!!

Just to add I am having grief with this - NFU= 2 hours wasted with various people and uploading photos etc- they wont quote, then tried with First Point Insurance brokers who were recommended on here ages ago in an old thread, after 24 hours they came back with the issue from the more well known underwriters that they wont quote the Aventador - as it is not garaged.
(It is behind large wooden gates out of public view under a car port with 2 cars in front of it) You need to move 2 cars to get to it overnight.
Apparently the larger insurers want anything over £150k value to be garaged, no exceptions.
I don't want to resort to leaving my car in one of those car storage / security compounds as I use the car more than most, and is not really practical as I dont live in London where most of them seem to be.
Will be trying again tommorow - If anyone has a 150k plus value car that is not garaged, please post away,
Thanks in advance....
Are you a member of Lamborghini Club UK? I use Lockton Performance as the broker and its an AXA product. A few restrictions but I was able to have a sensible phone conversation with them. I do feel more comfortable with the agreed value about which Admiral just said 'don't worry, if its a write off you will get market value.'

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

I have a Huracan Perf so not quite as extreme as yours.

After 4 + brokers and the ones mentioned on here no joy. (none will quote)
Ended up back to Admiral - Amg S63 cab + Aventador S + 3k cheap runabout - £9.5K premium.
All the brokers wanted the lambo in a garage, and just a single claim was a major issue.
Admiral does not care about the garage, and even gave us a lower price than before with vehicles in an open residential car park rather than at a more secure/discreet address with solid wooden gates with the car out of view and two vehicles blocking it in.
Speaking to various brokers who all tried to help, it seems that if you have any fault claims against you within 3-4 years - forget supercars until min 3 years has passed since the last accident.
If anyone has written off a Lambo/ Ferrari/ Mclaren/other expensive car, and then still managed to get insurance going forward on a simular car - please advise who underwrites this.
My issue was a single claim last year with a loss of 28k and not having a garage.
This is a 5k increase in premium.
Not really shocked at the price, but shocked that so many other so called specialists simply did not want to quote.....
Hope the original poster of this thread had some luck (one of the brokers I called confimed your vehicle model causing issues)
I believe it's only the fact we have been with admiral for a long time, (full history viewable of different cars owned by us and lack of claims etc) that in the end we managed to get a quote at all ............

Have you got an agreed value of the car(s)? That was my only problem with Admiral

No, but I have no choice, also they did pay out a fair amount on last years accident and you deal with an educated claims manager/ underwriter directly when there is a large claim involved (no call centre staff)
With admiral there is a high value / senior team you deal with, not just a call centre person.
With smaller claims and lower value cars you only deal with the call centre staff I believe, thats where you may run into problems.
They also made very large profits as a group last year due to covid - lack of cars on the road, lack of claims etc.
One of the specialist brokers yesterday said last year was the worst for theft of high value vehicles / classics (opposite market to admiral)
so that doesn't help either with the specialists picking and choosing who they want as customers..
I was also told that the thefts of high value 4x4's have got so bad, some insurers will not cover them for theft any more....

I'm with NFU, and will know later today what their thoughts are on a Huracan RWD...
Not expecting problems, but that's why surprises are well-named!
It's all about specific circumstances, but my current NFU policy is considerably better value than that Admiral figure quoted.

I Understand, I wasted 2 hours with them (NFU) - was nearly there with them as they asked twice for further info, but I think with them was not having a brick built garage meant no offer...

All my cars are also with NFU who are extremely competitive and also include a FOC two year new car replacement on a brand new car. I also have my RS with Lockton as NFU strictly exclude any Track use cover. Lockton also cover me to drive any other person's car with their permission on a comprehensive basis with no upper limit on value.

Manning and paceward are brokers which may help but the cars maybe to much

Insurance is weird and not how you think. Lots of cars today are stolen with the house been broken in or boxes sending the signal from your keys to car. If it's at your house is easy if they want it.

If it's on the street, secure car park they don't know where the keys are which house to rob/use the box etc

Alot of premiums go up when you store it in the garage why? Because many owners damage their cars getting it in and out. So it's more risk of damage.

So, Admiral came back with a definitive no, so I'm now shopping about. Currently waiting for a quote from NFU and Manning. Fingers crossed. Tried Classic Insurance Services and Adrian Flux - both of whom would cover the car but it seemed inordinately expensive. The Lockton/Lamborghini Club policy includes a courtesy car/European cover that I don't really need, so I figured there would be a better value (to me, as I know the Lockton policy is very good) option out there.

Did you hear back from NFU about a Huracan RWD?

Yes...got on cover ok. They charged me £0...
But multi-car policy is up for annual renewal on Tuesday so it's a temporary goodwill gesture.
Don't know what it's going to cost for next year yet, but definitely insured from tomorrow.

Now sorted with NFU as of yesterday afternoon. Thanks to everyone for the tips and help here. What I thought was going to be a one phonecall job turned into a bit of a marathon.

Glad to hear it. Have you gone for a multicar policy with them or just the Evo RWD?

It's a multicar - I'd got used to the 'neatness' of one payment and so was glad this worked out with them.

Bit silly if you think about it. What the difference between a EVO RWD and a LP610-4 in insurance terms? Surely similar risks of theft / crashing / fire. Both expensive but not like one is 4 times the price of the other. Makes no sense, as usual.

Seems that it’s more that the RWD hadn’t been categorised yet, so was on ‘emergency rates’. No doubt resolved after a few have been insured.

I have put all 3 of mine onto a multipolicy with Pace Ward.

£1700

SQ5,360 Spider, and a BMW diesel that does 20k a year. 6 points on my licence and one claim against me.
