Hi,

I ordered a new Huracan Evo back in December with an expected delivery date for July / August, this year.

I found out last week that there is now significant delays due to the bombing of a Lamborghini looming factory in Ukraine.

While the late delivery of the car is a major first world problem in comparison to what is happening in Ukraine, I’d like to know if the delay is weeks, months or a year, so I can plan accordingly, etc.

I’ve enjoyed the process with Lamborghini so far, but I can’t seem to get an answer (or reply) from Lamborghini on whether it’s weeks, months, or a year, which is a disappointing experience.

Has anyone else managed to get some insight on the potential delays, or is anyone else struggling to get in touch with them?

I've been told to add at least 3 and potentially 6 months on to my order

Assume you've tried your salesman? Is he just ignoring you or telling you he doesn't know?

There was a ship that sunk with a load of Lambos on it too so suspect that has impacted new orders as they re-make the ones that sunk as a priority.

This is old news. Everyone is having to wait for our cars (me LR Defender) and the dealers realistically haven’t got a clue. There are so many factors at play they just don’t know is the real truth.

Get a grip. When will the war end do you think and how long exactly will it take for Ukraine to return to normal?
No idea? I thought not and expect the Lamborghini boys are in exactly the same position furious

According to a chap at the OPC, their loom production line is still working. We both expressed some surprise at the concept of them carrying on making Macan looms instead of wiring up IEDs, but I suppose if some normalcy offers itself, you take it.

Personally OP I’d delete this thread before a red top gets hold of it and makes a headline out of its vulgarity. Whilst I appreciate you just want to know the likely delay, I think the poor taste wouldn’t paint a good picture.

Thanks to those of you who were of help.

Unfortunately some people seem to be miss reading my query... even though I highlighted at the start that the issue is not Ukraine... but questioning if anyone is struggling to get in touch with Lamborghini themselves (as I will have moved country by the time it is likely here now, so need to know my options).

As for negative heads on here, who always like to twist topics into something they are not... I'm quite certain i'm doing a lot lot lot more than you for the people in Ukraine (which again is not the topic of this thread, and not something I will get into). Over and out.
