Migrant crisis - What next thread
Discussion
Correct, it was moved and there an increasing number of posts being added that were in breach of the rules of the site and causing offensive to others within the community. As this is a very sensitive issue we made the decision to remove it for now, and allow people to have 'time out' from it for a while.
We completely understand and respect that the forums are used for open discussion and debate but there have been an increasing number of people contributing to both this and similar threads that have crossed the line.

Don't bet on it.
There are posters deliberately trying to provoke a reaction with their faux outrage at what they perceive as racism and this is what kills the discussion. Until these people are reined in as well the whole subject is going nowhere, which is a pity as it is a subject which could affect us all in the long term.
Just my take on it.
Agreed and noted.. we are weeding out those who bare no purpose other than to cause offensive and dilute the quality of the forums. So you don't believe there is any racism in those threads ?There are posters deliberately trying to provoke a reaction with their faux outrage at what they perceive as racism and this is what kills the discussion. have well and truly shut up in the last 6 weeks or so......as soon as the completely obvious issues that they were blindly ignoring 4 or 5 months ago have come to the fore.
Although they still like to hit the report button to take away the thread or posts that prove what a bunch of goody two shoes morons they were all along!! That way, they can believe it never happened and keep their heads in the sand. lalalalalala nothing to see here, everything is great in lefty land!!

And there are also posters who claim to want a frank and open discussion but whenever someone disagrees with them, challenges them or points out that tarring an entire race/nation/religious group with the same brush isn't really cricket they start shouting 'how dare you call me racist.'There are posters deliberately trying to provoke a reaction with their faux outrage at what they perceive as racism and this is what kills the discussion.
