"Last visit" not working anymore

since a week my "last visit" time is not recorded anymore - it's always the current time. Used to work fine. Any idea what happened?

Sorry to rain on the parade, but now it has sort of overcorrected and tells me my last visit was on Friday, both the second and third times I (automatically via cookies)logged on today!
