Keep getting page time outs today

Is it me or is anyone else getting page time-outs or page cannot be found?

Not noticed any today. I did get a 500 error yesterday and geta few "onnection reset by peer" errors, but nowt this morn.

Yes, things seem a bit weird today.
The timeouts would happen if I let them, I "refresh" each time which works.
I'm always a bit reluctant to post strange events as I have to go through a very tough firewall and I'm not altogether sure a particular problem is down to the site.
But, today, there's a topic on SP & L, "what to do in this situation?", that when you click on it you get "Oops... sorry, lost the topic!!!
Also, in the story about the trucker who beat the speed camera case, when I click on the further comments link it takes me My Member area!

Not found message sounds like the thread has been removed.

Generally the site is performing well today and I'm surprised that you're getting timeouts - not many showing up at this end.

Sure thing Ted, like I said, I'm sure much has to do with this omnipotent firewall, not to mention of course, any LAN issues which I wouldn't necessarily know about either.
But trust me though, things are a little more weird than usual at this end today, I'm starting to get that Big Brother feeling!!!
