I thought the same. So many complaints about the awful design GTI on mobile, so much love for the clean understated design of the old Classic template. fk it, let's continue that awful mobile GTI template through on to desktop and make sure everyone is really pissed.

Holy schmoley - what's happenin' man.

Is this the new cool and laid back look?

It's like looking at a rainbow.
A rainbow with four colours:

Pastel shade of grey
Pastel shade of blue
Pastel shade of green
Black.

Christ, it's like PH is now a composition of all of the current VAG car colours.

Its not as bold...it just looks like its designed to appeal to 2 year old.
I like it smile
How old are you, 2?

The quote outline boxes have now disappeared for me and i hate the font in threads and the bold font in the 'my stuff' looks bad. The functionality looks ok- text links change colour etc. Can we not have some skin functionality so we can select our own colour scheme/fonts?

Not only has someone been colouring in all my forums, all my quotes seem fudged-up too.

OK, I withdraw some of my comments... When you said "Today we have released the following updates to the forums:" what you really meant was "We will shortly be releasing the following updates to the forums:"

Still looks wishy-washy though!

Why do Reply, Bookmark, and Watch have to be huge buttons that take up the height of three lines of text? I get that buttons are more obvious than text links, but do they really need to be so big?

Edit: Also, the reply button being highlighted is really distracting

Whats with the random boldness of thread titles, sub-forum titles- thread text etc? The colours are too faded to be easily readable.

I must say that it's quite amusing seeing people screaming for it to be put back to the way it was when people were screaming about how awful it was. hehe

Let's give it a day or so to get used to it. Change is always a shock.

Aside from the "already clicked" links being red/purple (counter intuitive red is normally a warning colour in UIs), I quite like it.

Font usage is a bit messy.

Oh, and image upload is still in beta wink

Quoting doesn't look too clever now - bring back the awful speech bubble from the last update, all is forgiven!

ETA: ah, my further quote works. What's going on with the original quote, since the tags all appear correct?
