I've been wondering if there's been a drop in traffic following these changes, because I certainly pop in far less often than I used to before the "new look".

Not that it matters. I'm only one man.

So despite being told over a month ago that the site is illegal (people with a certain registered disability cannot use it), has anything been done?
Not sure it makes the site illegal under the circumstances you mention - not sure the legal restriction applies to private websites like this.

They altered the colours used as part of the 4th May release too, which seemed to resolve many of the complaints.

Firstly, the bug where your posts are highlighted in blue, but replies to your posts (where people quote you) are not highlighted. This used to work, and now doesn't. It means that I can't skim a thread looking for replies.
Any chance of a fix for this one? The current behaviour is really annoying.

I'll live with the other problems, but this one is making me less inclined to post.

Stop cheering at the back
It's almost as if they've got a team dedicated to making the UX as st as possible.

Any way to stop it jumping you to the end of a thread when you have never look at that thread before? Does it to me and it's annoying!

It's a mishmash of the old quotes and the really fking old quotes (made of ascii text, or at least looks like it) in conjunction with the new quotes.

Nope.

Several people have mentioned this (including me) and there has been no official response.

Maybe I'm being slightly uncharitable, but I rather suspect that a single person was temporarily put on this, the work is now considered finished, and they have been moved on to other things. Or maybe they were a freelancer and the engagement has finished.

Either way, I suspect we won't see any more updates in the near future.

There has been no official response to anything raised in this thread for more than four weeks now. I think they think they are done with it.

Did you hand on heart believe that anyone was listening in the first place?

I'm sitting in a padded room with 2 leather sofas facing each other, a coffee table and a scrabble board
There's the four of us. A fridge in the corner has some frozen sausages. A parrot is looking on.
What's the plan?

Apparently Jack Mansfield is no longer working for PH, so who knows whether or not anyone is steering the ship. I'm not sure if it makes much difference anyway as nobody seems to have given a toss since the days of Garlick and Stuart.

I'd love to see what goes on at PH's offices, particularly in the 'dev team'.

Does anyone believe there ever was a team? Frankly the speed of progress would barely fill the full time productivity of a single developer, never mind a team.

The total lack of progress for months upon months, followed by a burst of activity a month or so ago, suggests one developer who was put onto the project full time for a period of time, and is now no longer on it.

That's what happens unfortunately - good people who want to facilitate improvements that the users want

however if you aren't singing the company line you may have issues
