With the PH Classic 'skin' (sic), when you posted a large image it was automatically resized to a more manageable size, and when such a post was quoted then the image was reduced in size still further to a thumbnail size (as generated by the [thumb] tag).

This functionality has been lost, and was very useful indeed. Please could it be added back in.

Ah no, I'm wrong, it's not resizing, just constrained within the forum borders.

Indeed. If I maximise the window on my 3440x1440 screen then your pic fills my entire screen.

On the PH Classic 'skin', the picture would have a much smaller maximum size - ie. it would have been auto-resized.

Of course, I don't mean that the pictures were actually resized - just a capped maximum value in their display dimensions in the <img> tag or CSS.
