Thanks mods for keeping the site running and stopping it from becoming rubbish.

I know you must be busy with all the moderating Brexit/elections/terrorists threads. I expect it's a pretty thankless task, . . . . so I just wanted to say thanks,

It does sound like that but I just clicked what's new and read loads of threads full of people arguing about terrorism and marxists and the EDL and why the websites knackered and people getting banned because of the above and then complaining about moderation, and thought - inagine having to sort through all that st.

There's nobody obviously running the site, If the mods all got fed up then it would be completely rubbish.

Then it would just spill into the Lounge or even General Gassing

All the st is in one place - new threads already covered by old threads get locked fairly quickly

I think it works way better than it has any right to do bearing in mind the subject matter being discussed

However I would suspect that the majority of the work in moderation is generated in NP&E and I thank them for their efforts

Some forums do generate more complaints/reports than others.
As has been said before, mods can't read ever post, & it is useful when PH community report abusive comments ,duplicate threads, adverts etc
