I don't know why they bother anyway - other sites do it a million times better than PH, not only photos but video and editorial as well. My bookmark takes me straight to the forum, I never both with any of the rest of the site now including the classifieds - I'd go to Autotrader every time.

Image quality is still dogst from what I can see. Even worse is the screwed aspect ratio when images are included in a PH news article, making cars appear skinnier and taller than they actually are.

If it intends on driving clicks to the main page for revenue, it's in their interest to not have images infected with aids. Also similarly "free" sites don't have this abomination of an image solution. I hope the new owners notice this situation.

I can do without your condescension of my elleged entitlement, thanks. If this was still run by Petrol Ted then yeah, I would happily let this go. However PH has been run a big media corps ever since and the presentation of the editorial site has been embarrassing. I made this thread because I care. This is one of my most frequently visitied sites and has been for years. I'm not being a dick. I just want PH to be better.

it's a red car - I honestly could not give a st about the resolution of the images on my phone or tablet it's impossible to see the differences unless you zoom in to a point where you are focusing on a small detail.

Maybe that's good enough for you but not me. Phone or tablet? Quality is horrific across ALL platforms, not just mobile. I'm not misrepresenting these imagines, compare them yourself with those from other sites and you can see the problem.
