I doubt anyone wants my dog having an account and randomly bashing the keys and posting gibberish. There isn’t a rule that says dogs can’t post here either.
If any rules were broken then I expect

But these rules aren’t the constitution or some legal framework. My understanding from a previous thread in website feedback, is that the mods have looked into SantaBarbara and decided that it is a real person or that there isn’t enough evidence to prove that it is a bot.

Correct. There is also no evidence to link SantaBarbara to any commercial organisation of that name.If someone can find a link and bring it to the attention of the moderators we can take a look at it.

Why have so many people got a hard-on for SB? As if it's their duty to be really concerned and panic and let everyone know that they think it's a bot and they are so clever etc.
If SB bothers you that much, ignore him? It's not hard for supposedly intelligent people to do, you are all coming across like 13 year old aspergers sufferers, such is the obsession and inability to let it go.

Totally the opposite. No obsession, just annoyance at the one liners that have no bearing to a thread and which ruin the flow of discussion. A bit like having a 6 year old listening in to an adult conversation and constantly spouting crap - annoying! If SB bothers you that much, ignore him?
