People enjoy being offended. Makes them feel all important.
Well, you must feel very, very important then seeing as you spend so much time on here where nobody has any respect for you and are quite happy to show it!Yipper said:
The area north of Rugby accounts for roughly ~50% of the UK population, but something like ~65% of the burglarised car crimes usually associated with hot-hatch thefts.
The bottom half of England is not crime-free, of course, but it is relatively safer than the top half (for certain car crime).
If you strip out East and North London, the chances of getting your house raided for your car keys in the South is pretty slim (<1%).

I like the odd coding challenge, so I've chucked this script together - it works with greasemonkey and tampermonkey, so you can pick your poison!
Other people might make it more user friendly, but all you do is add it as a userscript in GM/TM, add the names you wish to block to the "add" "names" "here" section in quotes (feel free to replace these), and enable the script.
It'll impact the UI of the site a little bit though, because it just hides the post so the dark/light modulation of the posts won't always follow, and it doesn't block quoted posts so you'll still see when people reply to trolls, but for the most part it seems to work.
If mods/hm disagree with this, then please remove - but please don't ban me! I don't think this violates any of the RoP as it is all client side JS.

They should get this implemented and offer to pay him something for his time, they have it already written for them, no excuse for not implementing it. They should call it the Yipper Skipper.Other people might make it more user friendly, but all you do is add it as a userscript in GM/TM, add the names you wish to block to the "add" "names" "here" section in quotes (feel free to replace these), and enable the script.

I know to ignore him, as an increasing number of others do too. However, in the Holidays and Travel sub-forum, he responds with utter crap on just about every thread, and for the unsuspecting it can be very misleading. That sub-forum has a somewhat transient audience as people come to ask specific questions about places they're visiting, etc, so not everyone knows he's to be ignored.
I do struggle to understand what motivates him/her/it to post such drivel.

Hence why, imo, he should be banned.I do struggle to understand what motivates him/her/it to post such drivel.
I asked an investment question on the finance forum and he just gobbed off about bitcoin. Seriously uncool.
Another classic from the schoolteacher thread.
I was at the school involved.
The teachers (my chemistry teacher and my physics teacher) had videoed themselves getting friendly in the PE hall when they sneaked in during summer holidays.
The tape was found by accident in a cupboard years later and viewed by a few pupils.
It was also said that he once demonstrated potassium in water by bunging a huge lump into the small pond outside and blew some goldfish onto the grass.
And any excuse to make an oxy acetylene balloon bomb and he was on it!
But he definitely had the coolest car of any of the teachers, a late '80s silver Audi Quattro, with the number plate AUD120V,

Mate walked in one afternoon on the boys' PE master banging the girls' PE master doggy over a table in what they thought was a quiet corner of the chemistry lab. He ran out laughing and, of course, word spread like wildfire. Word spread eventually to teachers and parents and about a week later it somehow ended up on the front page of The Sun
Sorry to poo poo your story, but unless another pair of teachers ended up on the front page of The Sun for something similar, that's not what happened at all.I was at the school involved.

His car has just been on the telly apparently.
Prog was okay. Not much they can do with it, other than faux-deadlines, last-minute wrap drama, and "oh, my days, it's a sleb".

Did anyone catch the Yianni thingy on dave tv? - about as entertaining as watching people stick wallpaper on the wall.
Yeah, one of my cars was shown in the background of episode 2 Prog was okay. Not much they can do with it, other than faux-deadlines, last-minute wrap drama, and "oh, my days, it's a sleb".
I can't quite place him, narcisist? Idiot? Troll? All of them?
He's one of those people who has a story for everything!
What's that...climbed Ben Nevis at the wekend you say? Yeah I had a friend who was lost on the Himalayas for 2 weeks last year.
Bought a new Ferrari have you? Yeah a friend of mine wrapped his new 458 around a tree last year.
Got a crack appearing in your kitchen ceiling you say? Guy I knew had that, didn't treat it, whole house fell down.
Rinse and repeat.

Another example of doctor Yippers advice in the health forum. Getting ridiculous now.

Never, never remove a healthy tooth. It has profound physical and psychological effects. Once it's gone, it's gone forever and never coming back.
The problem looks like it has been caused by a botched dental procedure. A tooth was removed and it damaged the tooth / gum / root next to it.
Dental mistakes are very common in the UK. Don't be shy about it.
Thus, you need to sue the dentist. Use specialist lawyers, like DLP or NAH. Get compensation for the mistake, and then get them to pay to fix the mistake (with another dentist). Clean out the muck underneath the healthy tooth.
