Disagree; it's (Googled) opinion presented as fact and is, in most cases, either misleading or completely wrong. Like Top Gear, I still stick around here in the hope if might get better and every once in a while there's a few great threads but sadly the forum is a shadow of its former self these days.
It's not even useful - due to the 'no name and shame' policy you can't warn people of rogue traders or bad experiences. I can no longer trust PH as a source for recommendations.

Not sure that's the case. Recommendations re good service/traders and good experiences are allowed, and posters always have a way of telling you to avoid certain traders etc by omission of a good review/recommendation.If you are able to read between the clearly very wide lines it's the same as a bad review.
