Seriously that can’t be true - 300bhp/ton would have recomended some obscure yank iron or a panda 100bhpon the 20s thread moved into SP&L

The research from UK and Europe typically shows:
20mph "zone" (with speed bumps) = reduces injuries and deaths by 30-80%...
20mph "limit" (without speed bumps) = reduces injuries and deaths by 10-30%...
So, just sticking up a few "20" signs saves a few lives. Putting up a few "20" signs + speed bumps + cameras saves a lot of lives.
you couldnt make it up20mph "zone" (with speed bumps) = reduces injuries and deaths by 30-80%...
20mph "limit" (without speed bumps) = reduces injuries and deaths by 10-30%...

Much of this increase came from the number of pedestrians injured
Or to put it another way - if youre interested in pedestrian safety be wary of 20sTheres a more objective government report somewhere if anyone can be bothered finding it

He's at it again in Holidays and Travel, offering up 'advice' based on a 10 second Google search. Here's his view on a trip to San Fransisco...
Getting very tiresome now.

SF is a great business city, but it's a bit overrated for tourism.
Alcatraz is brilliant. Lombard Street is fun for a challenge in a hire car. The harbour sub is good to poke around. The golden bridge is small and an anticlimax.
If doing a whole week, it's probably worth squeezing in a second city nearby. Somewhere like Seattle, which has a big tower, seaplanes and volcanoes.

There's never any 'imo' aspect to any of his posts. He posts in a way thay suggests he knows everything, has done everything, has visited everywhere....there really is no subject that he's not prepared to Google and offer up some ridiulaus, often contrary position, to any asked question by an OP.
Very strange individual.
