Just looking at honeymoon stuff and curious who people recommend.
We used to always use Kuoni but they want 3x the cost we can do it ourselves. Which is just absurd.
I always thought companies had margins built into their favourable rates rather than just tacking on 5 grand to the price you can get yourself which seems to be what we're getting back at the moment.

We have some quotes out with Audley etc but wonder if we're missing anything.

Any travel agents on here?

Cheers!

We've used Trailfinders for a number of years. For the travel we do they are competitive with us doing our own thing on the internet. They just add extra piece of mind.

I have used Trailfinders for many years for me and Mrs 450. On the one occasion we had an issue I called the person who we had booked the trip with and we had a hotel move in 24 hours thumbup

Erm.. Then why don't you?

Travel agents are a relic of a bygone era. There are plenty of comparison websites and then you just book direct. Agents don't get better prices any more so in order to make money they need to tack on an extra few £K.

I plan all my own holidays and save heaps.

TBH just because of anxiety and the potential to cock it up or miss something.

It really isn't that hard.

I've never stuffed up in dozens of trips. OTOH, heard of plenty of times where a travel agent stuffed up and colleagues/friends ended up out of pocket.
