Adblock for safari doesn’t kill these, any help for an iPhone user?
Adblock can't kill this stuff on Edge either. Crystal isn't blocking it on Safari on iPhone.

Stupid isn't.

Need to get setup with an add blocker, but I don't want to have to use a dedicated browser for the site.

What are people using as a blocker on Android/Chrome? Samsung S7 if it matters.

It was mentioned earlier in this thread that Adguard will block the sponsored content on iPhones. It worked for me.

Well I just got sucked in to clicking one of the "sponsored content" stories frown.
It was on the Spanish GP thread, with a picture of Ricciardo and some catchy caption, and linked to news.com.au.
As soon as the page opened I saw that the story dated from late 2017! I doubt if it was more than 2 seconds before I closed the page.

Such tawdry, low-rent adverts make this site look like a down-at-heel corner shop in a depressed area.

Only thing I have noticed is it doesn't seem to have search suggestions while typing, unlike chrome. Could just be my phone though.

I recommended Brave as an alternative to Blokada - it's great for browsing but there's a lot of activity from apps in the background 'calling home' etc as well as in-app ads which Blokada catches too; mine has now blocked 425,935 ad connections from my phone as a whole. Astonishing really, I first installed it on 17th March so that's just 8 weeks' worth...

I'm now browsing with Brave. So much better, my tablet is running loads quicker. Thanks for the suggestion.

Judging by the couple of downtimes over the past week it seems not.

Well those threads aren't going to lock themselves...

My question - how are they paying for 3rd party moderators? Surely a few more normal rank-and-file people here as mods would free up that overhead, maybe enough to get a dev even part time....?
