So this morning i log on via chrome on desktop and am presented with the largest, ugliest "we care about your privacy" bks.
Despite being logged in, updated before every fking thing is re-enabled!?
Someone was mentioning making an official note to the governing body, i forget what they're called now? Did they follow through?

I installed Brave on my phone about a week ago, have only used it to browse PH, and haven't really been on here that much in that time.
So far it's blocked 374 trackers and 586 adverts.
Well done on annoying people so much you're killing off your own revenue stream PH
Sounds like Brave is inflating numbers (counting same ones on each incident rather than once?) to make its users get attached! So far it's blocked 374 trackers and 586 adverts.

And you do know Brave was launched to make money from Advertising right? Instead of Pistonheads putting adverts, they want to put their own instead...
Stick to Firefox or Safari with open source blocker (ublock origin, Umatrix etc) . Brave has investors who need to get paid as do the other commercial browser companies.

You do realise Safari was developed by The Church of the Zombie Steve....
Yes, but at the moment, apple are seeking to differentiating themselves from Android on privacy. It's a business strategy to that makes sense for them and one that aligns with my needs so a 'win-win' as business folk like to say.
Ublock origin works fine with safari on Mac.

Yes, but strangely it doesn't show me any ads at all. Only put it on as a temporary measure until I figure out how to block them properly on chrome on android. Gassing Station | Website Feedback | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
