Just to add to this, and I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but I've never had this issue once in the years that I've been on this site, using various pc's and phones.

If you're getting redirects I'd recommend downloading malwarebytes adwcleaner. Purpose built lightweight scanner which sniffs out hard to find malware like redirecters.
I had a brand new fresh install windows 10 machine do it at work, Its site related for the most part I think.

That all but confirms it then.

Since Haymarket won't sort it out the only solution is for everyone to run an ad block plugin.

It's a very sad state of affairs to be honest.
I will just add that the machine now has Avast on it and that keeps catching all sorts of site redirects that say the "license has expired" and similar. nearly all the catches have dodgy looking names. Its only on PH.

Just for fun I put Malwarebytes on my home laptop, it keeps catching "potentially unwanted programs" but only on PH.
