Watching this thread as cubicle browsing at work has been ruined. I'm another one that thought my phone was broken, relieved to hear it's not just me!

At least it still works on desktop...

Hi all,

We are aware of the very slow running, and agree it is extremely annoying! I'm just waiting for an update on this so will provide more information when I know more.

Apologies again.

Jack

The site is horrid and slow on iPhone; it’s been a fortnight now; why is the fix taking so long??

The team responsible for the fix have been looking after the Brexit negotiations as well and may face further delays, as they're appointing the next Man Utd manager.

To be fair he started replying 10 days ago, but not using Brave it took him that long.

Good one! hehe

That'll go about as well as all the other stuff you lot promise to sort out.

Been on Brave a little while now (since one of the previous PH st-show threads, actually) and it's bloody brilliant. No sneaky advert issues here.

Have also switched to Brave on my (i)phone. It's brilliant - PH forums work faster than ever.

I usually browse on Chrome with an adblocker enabled so the forum's been running fine for me, however i noticed on Thursday, and again tonight, that Outbrain is no longer appearing in my blocked list covering ads / cookies, etc.

Have HM finally seen sense and pulled the clickbait at the bottom of the page?

Not seeing them on safari, site is much quicker again. You’d think they’d reply and let us all know that they’ve removed it!

Seems the site is unable in Chrome again even without an ad blocker (which I'll keep using any way)'

Seems someone listened eventually.......

I just tried it on chrome. No ad blocker. Is useable, but it's not perfect.

Still way faster on Brave. Since brave is built in the chromium project is basically chrome with built it ad blockers

Still pretty much unusable on Safari - I’ll keep using Brave, which is a bit of a revelation, so thanks for whoever recommended it on this thread!

If you clear the cache and web history it works fine again in Safari

Using Chrome and it's a sodding nightmare with slow pages, incorrect forums shown to the one selected (even jumps to those off the visible page) and just an awful user experience.

Now I've seen the "Brave" recommendations I'll give that a go but basically lots of us are having to mess around with browsers over something PH should be sorting.

Brave made no difference for me. Just as clunky as Chrome when on a mobile.
